Anyone want to split a ticket package?

I was wondering if anyone on the board would want to split a 20 ticket flex pack? I was looking at either getting the field level infield (works out to $66 per seat) or the field level bases ($48.50 per seat). The 20 ticket plan seems the best one as you can chose all the best games and the limit is 6 tickets for the BOS/NYY games and 4 for the Home Opener. Since all the ticketing is digital now you can send tickets through email to each others blue jays accounts and don't have to worry about getting the physical tickets to each other.

 

I probably won't buy it for a couple weeks but leave a comment or send a PM if you are interested.

As someone who's bought flex packs in years past if you sell your home opener tickets and another sold out game that's in high demand (ie. Canada's day) you can pretty much break even and its like going to the games for free if anyone is thinking of doing this. I would suggest field level bases you should be able to get a pretty good row and a good section as single seats have not been released yet.

 

Also call one of their ticket sales reps you will get better seats then if you do it online through the website.

Canada's day) you can pretty much break even and its like going to the games for free if anyone is thinking of doing this. Also call one of their ticket sales reps you will get better seats then if you do it online through the website.

 

I do this for the 500 level seats usually as for whatever reason the home opener has such a massive demand. I was just wondering if someone wanted tickets for a few tickets at under face value as I only want to see a few games. Thanks for the info though!

I read that there is a max for 6 tickets to the BOS/NYY games and 4 for the Home Opener. But other than that you can get 10 tickets for 2 games if you wanted to.

the Jays drew over 40K at 18 games last season ... over 45K at 14 of those.

that's why I wrote "late Sept."

 

also (for me) a "pennant race" involves battling for a division title (which the Jays weren't) rather than a "playoff race" which includes vying for the 2nd wildcard (which the Jays were until mid-Sept.)

Being three games back of the second wild card with only a few weeks left isn't exactly going to invoke a mountain of enthusiasm and excitement. Fans had the wind knocked out of their sails after the garbage August.

 

There would have been a lot more interest in the team in September if you swap their May record with their August record.

That's amazing. You could probably sell two home openers and make most of the money back, and keep two home openers for yourself.

Starting on the 26th, I'll officially be a customer of Rogers, switching all three of my services over (phone, TV, internet), for a massive upgrade over what I had before, and paying less than I was giving to Bell.

The offer I received over the phone was basic phone, basic cable and 60 Mbps internet (320 gigs of usage) for $85 per month. Internet is my biggest priority, and you won't get internet at that speed and usage anywhere in Toronto for $85 alone, let alone the other two services with it.

 

What I ended up ordering was higher because I got several add-ons. The overall package and price I ordered was something like:

 

- TV: Basic cable with an additional international channels pack for the parents ($10), with a free PVR and a second receiver for my grandma's TV ($5.50)

- Phone: Basic home phone (keeping my existing number) with Caller ID and Voicemail added ($5)

- Internet: 150 Mbps hybrid fibre with 550 GB of data usage and a free advanced WiFi modem.

 

Price: $137 per month.

 

The promos last a year (at which point you can call in and ask for new promos) and there's no contract or cancellation charges if you ever opt at any point beforehand.

 

The basic TV does include Sportsnet, but it doesn't include Sportsnet One or Sportsnet 360. That isn't a problem for me, because if you have any Rogers service, you can watch all the Jays games online with their free RogersOnDemand service anyway.
