my first game was Sept 1977

It was actually a doubleheader against the Yankees

We lost 3-0 and 15-0

back when reggie, Munson, mickey rivers, Pinella, guidry, Gossage etc all were with the yanks

Had a great time though

I never did, but my dad worked in concessions there during the summer during ball games.

Lots of games (I'm 40 now). Fondly remember the drive of 85.

Yes so do I

I actually used to have 1 hr season reviews on video for each season from like 83 - 93

I'll look for them and if i find them I'll try to get them on Youtube if they are allowed

I went to one (that I remember). I remember that I ate a lot of candy and Junior Felix hit a home run. Also, metal bench seats.

For the record, the first Jays game ever was 1 year and 1 day before I was born.

Awesome first mlb games (despite the scores!)

Back when we used to have doubleheaders in Toronto.

Love the cast of characters on those '77-'78 Bronx Zoo teams ... ya forgot Sparky Lyle and of course Billy too.

Thurman was my favourite tho.

Yup, once. I was on the first base side and spent half the game peaking out over the stadium at the fair grounds behind/beside the stadium.

All I remember (I was very young) was sitting in the right field bleachers, staring in to the sun, and could barely see. And seagulls. And Lloyd Moseby.

I've seen the Jays twice; once at the Ex circa 1984 and once in Ottawa (exhibition game) in 1993, iirc. Only been to Skydome once, for a Billy Graham crusade...still trying to make it there for the Jays, although the next time I see them will most likely be at Safeco, now that I'm on Vancouver Island.

Many times, used to love those $5 General Admission seats. If you got there early you could get some pretty good seats.

in the early 80s, Dominion and A&P (the grocery stores) sold GA tickets for $2.

That's where I picked my seats up for the weekend series, 5 dollar GA must've been during the final years.

I did this very shortly, quit on the 3rd day, used my money for tickets, lol.

there were no right field bleachers at Exhibition Stadium :)
