MrMariusz Verified Member Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 Reyes piling up the inning ending at bats.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 I missed most of the game today, why are we arguing about Goins again? The argument is that Drew is not worth the money this year and definitely not worth a 1/5-6 type deal next year, IMO.
EdwinsParrot Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 navarro you lazy fatass

Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 Cecil has entered new territories of filthy.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 We get to watch Tanaka arm blow up tomorrow. They seriously need to shut him down they're not making the playoffs. Exactly. With a loss tonight, the Yanks elimination number will be down to 4 or 5, depending on the Seattle and Oakland games.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 It's coming bro. Honestly, you should learn something about key indicators to future success. I'm not talking about JFAs type stuff here but just simple things like K-rates and plate discipline. Goins can up his BABIP (it's very possible) and the impact is quite small on his overall value. He's way too slow to ever have positive baserunning value and he strikes out too much to BABIP himself to a solid average and he's not walking enough to make up for that. He's got 2 years which he has options to prove himself. After that he's signing minor league deals. Simmons makes contact...which is why he has a chance to have some value from his bat.
comeon sense Verified Member Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 Bautista is truly a great baseball player We are lucky to have him !
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 I love how Navaro just gives up in a run down.. actually no I don't love it but it's pretty funny. he seems to have a "f*** it" attitude when it comes to anything related to athleticism.
comeon sense Verified Member Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 Replace Cespedes, with Adam Dunn...that`ll work
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 Replace Cespedes, with Adam Dunn...that`ll work I called it on trade day. Said it would destroy them. terrible trade.
comeon sense Verified Member Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 Morrow for closer ! 100 MPH fastball,90 plus MPH slider.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 Morrow got squeezed hard, was basically forced to throw it down the middle.

Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 Morrow got squeezed hard, was basically forced to throw it down the middle. He DID throw one down the middle, and still got squeezed lol. The strike zone has been like that all day (for us, not for them).

nextyear Verified Member Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 If the Jays won 3 out of the 6 that they lost in the past week they would still have a chance. They could have won the game last night, the one against Tampa last Sunday and then 1 other of the four against Baltimore and NY. Just saying, they could have been within 3 after tonight. What a sad season it has been, but at least they won tonight and Pompey had a respectable game.

By the way... we need to find a way to Clone Mr Bautista Just imagine a baseball team with 9 hitters with the patience, eye, ability and intelligence of Bautista, what a lineup that would be. Toronto is truly blessed to have Bautista playing for the Blue Jays. Maybe in 10 years once he is retired he will stay in the Toronto organization as a manger or GM.
