guylaroche5 Verified Member Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 When's the last time this org had a decent catcher? Oh yeah... Traded him to Minnesota.... you mean cleveland?
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Stroman's just thinks "f*** it, if you *******s can't catch a ball, I'll do it myself."
kgm1 Verified Member Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Would not surprise me if Stroman wins a GG some day
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Oh look, Stroman has to bail himself out with a good play, figures.
guylaroche5 Verified Member Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Man, if only we got Steve Pearce. To think we were so close to getting him too. fack. would have helped us in that gauntlet against lefties but it wasn't THAT big a loss
Mikeleelop Verified Member Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Defence is the difference in this game. The two teams are night and day different The blue jays are trying to smash square pegs into round holes while the orioles have defenders who can play MLB quality defence at each position Stroman is getting burned by the sub par defence behind him
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 you mean cleveland? Kratz.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Do you mean Cleveland lol I thought he was talking about Kratz, I was going to say KC lol.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 would have helped us in that gauntlet against lefties but it wasn't THAT big a loss He's having an excellent year. He would have been a huge help.

Their Offense is slightly above projections, pitching is really nothing special, but the defense is off the charts high when compared to their lineups norms. It's a huge reason they're where they are
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 He's having an excellent year. He would have been a huge help. With our luck he would have turned into Steve Tolleson 2.0
kgm1 Verified Member Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Stroman's just thinks "f*** it, if you *******s can't catch a ball, I'll do it myself." It would be funny but he has had 3 games where the defense really s*** the bed behind him.
Mikeleelop Verified Member Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 He's having an excellent year. He would have been a huge help. Agree he's a significant upgrade over Valencia and the swinging hinge Pillar
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 I thought that was a mammoth lol, he really got under that one.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Kansas City............................ Whatever. Plainly put, this org wouldn't recognize a quality defensive catcher to save it's life.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Kratz. Kansas City then
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 0/2 lol Oh eat a dick. I got two teams mixed up... It's the end of the world as we know it.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Oh eat a dick. I got two teams mixed up... It's the end of the world as we know it. There is nothing worse humanly possible
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Whatever. Plainly put, this org wouldn't recognize a quality defensive catcher to save it's life. We've really never had one except maybe Molina? Navarro, Arencibia, Borders, Knorr, Myers (was decent IIRC) Zaun all bad to so-so. You gotta go a long ways back otherwise.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Attaboy Tolleson. Pillar do something.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Oh eat a dick. You heard him GD. King is eagerly waiting.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Ca mon Pillar! Need a hit here.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 KC down1-0 in the first already, Detroit up 2-0 in the first
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Late on the fastball tells me they're sitting soft/curve and just adjusting to the fastball... And doing a really s***** job of it
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Pillar is just not an MLB player, much less a starting one.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Goins up in a big big spot. Against a lefty. Sweet
EdwinsParrot Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 just another pillar AB
