Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 Buatista in the HOF is a near-impossibility. The best case scenario for him is he produces another 5 years and he might have a career close to Jason Giambi, who, juice or no juice, is a fringe candidate himself. Right. And Jason Giambi had some excellent Bautista-like seasons. But not too many call him a great player.
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 Right. And Jason Giambi had some excellent Bautista-like seasons. But not too many call him a great player. yes, Giambi was being paid 20 million dollars 8 years ago when 20 million was a lot more than it is today for being a good player. When Giambi was in his prime he was a great player. He's not a hall of famer. Bautista isn't a hof either. If Walker can't get in Bats will never get in. Jose is still a great player today in the present.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 What makes Gibbons such a bad manager? The Nats are maybe the best team in baseball, I wouldn't trade Gibbons for Matt Williams. Pinch running Pompey for Goins Losing Goins Tollesson makes game blowing error You dig m8
