Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 If Ryan Goins is going to hit 32 wRC+ he has to make those plays. Hell...if he hits 80 wRC+ he needs to make that play if he wants to...stick? Oh he's gonna stick....... to the minor leagues
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2014 Author Posted September 4, 2014 Muni turns that DP Not with his noodle arm.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 I'm so confident that the mods should ban me if we lose today. This GDT is just too sexy for us to lose. quoted for posterity

kgm1 Verified Member Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 With the options they have at 2nd i don't understand what Muni has done to be sitting . I can only assume this is AA saying he wants to give Goins another shot
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 "Navarro did everything he could" Um, about that, Pat...
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 God damn Burly, please please dont do this. Dont end the season for us.

kgm1 Verified Member Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 Not with his noodle arm. I disagree . Look he isn't much but he is better than Goins . Not defensivley but all round
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 MB doesn't look sharp. He got off to a great start and was lucky but damn is he seemingly unable to get through an inning without making your blood pressure go up.

kgm1 Verified Member Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 How many extra pitches did Buehrle throw cause Goins doesn't turn a routine double play . FFS
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 MB doesn't look sharp. He got off to a great start and was lucky but damn is he seemingly unable to get through an inning without making your blood pressure go up. Srs throw him on the bench and throw Norris in there
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 How many extra pitches did Buehrle throw cause Goins doesn't turn a routine double play . FFS Buehrle laughs at this notion of pitch count. And as much as I hate to say it, let's stop hating on Goins. We shouldn't suddenly offset his defensive skills because of 2 bad games.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 sigh.....sigh......
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 Is Ben Zobrist a free agent?
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 Is Ben Zobrist a free agent? He has a team option for 2015.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 The Injury Report should be called the Brett Lawrie Report
kgm1 Verified Member Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 Goins is absolutely better than Kawasaki, it isn't really close. No ! He is a defense only player whose 200 average is actually better than what he deserves. Muni gets on base, hits for a better average, takes a lot of pitches and while he is replacement level, Goins is below.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2014 Author Posted September 4, 2014 Is Ben Zobrist a free agent? No. He has a very reasonable option that will 100% be picked up.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 perfect time to try and bunt for a hit

That was my bad, I thought you were talking defensively, because of the post that you had quoted. I deleted my post.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 perfect time to try and bunt for a hit sigh dont listen to me a fan you bum
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 Srs throw him on the bench and throw Norris in there At this point why not? MB has had an OK year and seems to be running out of steam so give one of the young guys a shot?
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 f***, Kiermaier is such a stud.
