Yeah it's possible but unlikely they retain him. I have absulutely no idea what Rasmus will get on the free agent market now. Prob no more than 2-3 years and ?? Dollars per year.

Thole hasn't been that bad as a backup. Definitely not a starter, but not a bad backup.

Definitely not QO worthy. At this point, even $10M/year might be optimistic for Rasmus, considering the baggage between St. Louis and Toronto. As for Cabrera, considering the camaraderie he has with Bautista and EE, good chance he returns, as long as the Jays pay up.

why not just ween Dickey off the tit? AA needs to sour the milk and make the guy grow up. His good luck pet doesn't work. Dickey's one off Cy season is never coming back.
