When I was a young teen/kid I used to chase baseball players for their autographs. I think it's legit for teens and kids to do so. However, I remember, there were always a bunch of 40 year old somethings that chased players also. They kinda looked like the comic book guy in the Simpsons. I think that's kinda sad that you would chase some guy who is 20 years younger than you for a mere signature... Sigh.

Somebody wants an autograph but doesn't want to wait in line? Then the guy with the eBay baseball card shop will do it for you for a price. Deliver it right to your doorstep. Capitalism rules.

 

I have never gotten anything signed before because I don't personally care, but I can imagine that most of the charm behind it is meeting that person and the autograph is proof that you did. So I don't get buying people's autographs from a third party.
