burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 You know there is going to be inconsistency from a guy coming back from TJS. Blame management for having the team count on him as a number 3 starter
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 That's how the team has played this year either really hot or terrible. Come on DH12 weren't you banned?
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 OK wow just wow Gonna have to turn this one off I'm sorry, but f*** off Hutch. Two earlier batters he should have been more aggressive with Yup,he lost his bull dog mentality. Go after Dunn you pussy.

JFD Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 That's gotta be some record, no? Twice in 3 games that your starter doesn't get out of the 1st? Fking brutal. it happened on a regular basis in the Delgado era
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Jesus, I started Hutch today, Whoops! Alright, we found the culprit...great job meat!
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Did Walker pay a visit at all? Hey, just allow him to implode... Walker needs to be drop kicked out of this organization. We need Hentgen as our pitching coach.

ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Hutch max velocity this season is 96 mph FB. I saw a lot of 90-92 and one 93, what the f*** is he doing? It comes and goes. They should play it safe and shut him down.
TBJ12 Verified Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 I really hope they don't bring himback out there for the 2nd.
Slider Verified Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Man..this game is over already! I'll still be watching the whole game. A grandslam and a 2 run home run in the same inning for the Sox? Terrible!
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 f*** sakes Mettalijay out in full force.
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 I guess Hutch thought it was batting practice? Holy s***. He seems to have hit a wall or at least he's not coming back from each start consistently. It might be simple fatigue and that he's not able to get back to where he was consistently but this is painful to watch. It hasn't been a bad start here or there they've been bunching up. At this point why not just push him back, shut him down, or give him an extended break and bring up Nolin or Norris? If he can't stay consistent the season is finished. Well, he and MB aren't being consistent along with RA.
Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Everybody calm the f*** down! It's only early in the season. Oh wait..........
olskool Verified Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Time to watch the LL WE. I meant to say the Little League World Series.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Jesus, I started Hutch today, Whoops! There's a number of starters having really bad start to the day. Joe Kelly has given up 7 vs Houston (in the 3rd), and Despaign gave up 4 to St. Louis in the first. Fortunately for me, Vanland started two of them
Iluvbjs Verified Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Hutch has absolutely nothing today. Today? REALLY? Because he reminds me of A.J Burnett to a tee. He is lights out for two starts and then blows up for 4 or 5 because of a complete lack of command. Throwing 40 pitches in one inning in one of the teams most important games of the year is just flat out unacceptable. He should be sent down and left there until he proves he can command the strike zone. He has been garbage off and on all year and I think enough is enough with this f***ing scrub.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 This guy's a scrub, if the BP keeps us in the game we can still comeback.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 This team is terrible but this GDT is even worse
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Of course, with Scott Carroll pitching, it's anybody's guess what the score ends up being. We could very well come back in this game.

He was awful today, but let's not act like he is a f***ing scrub.
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Sometimes your the windshield sometimes your the Bug! SPLATT a Tat Tat ! Take cover boys! Lol
Iluvbjs Verified Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 His fastball command and his command in general is outright amateur. He needs to go down to AA ball where he belongs until he proves he can throw strikes down in the zone consistently. Earlier in the year, he was just garbage at home. Now he's stinking it up wherever he goes. An ERA over 5 is flat out unacceptable at this level. Time to give Sanchez some experience in that role and prepare this team for the future.

He was awful today, but let's not act like he is a f***ing scrub. He's a scrub, it has nothing to do with calming down. He has been inconsistent all year, especially at home. If you think a guy with an ERA of 5 and a WHIP over 130 is serviceable then you need to start following another sport there buddy. He's had way more horrible starts then he has had good ones and his ups and down need to be worked out at another level at this point. He lacks command down in the zone with his fastball and it has been that way over 25 starts, which IMO, is more than a large enough sample size to make that judgement.
guylaroche5 Verified Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 lmao i go to walk my dog when we're up 1-0 and come back to 1-6. seriously what the f*** is wrong with hutch, i don't even want to watch this game anymore
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Well that sucked. Luckily, we have a ways to go..
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Hutch back out there surprisingly..
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Get Hutch out of here already. I guess we need him to chew up some innings. Gibby must be so frustrated.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 I don't disagree with putting him back out there, but he better be on a tight rope.
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
