The right-hander then worked nine in a 3-2, 10-inning victory over Detroit on Saturday, failing to get a decision after allowing two runs and four hits on 109 pitches. Toronto's starting pitchers have a decent 4.40 ERA in August, but the lineup has batted .236 with 104 strikeouts, 30 runs and 103 men left on base. The Blue Jays are also suffering through a power drought with five home runs this month after hitting 134 in their first 110 games. Toronto had gone deep 18 times in its first 14 after the All-Star break, posting an 11-3 mark in that span. Tigers: Noesi's most recent outing was arguably his best of the season. He held Seattle - his former team - to one run over 7 1-3 innings in a 2-1 win Saturday and didn't allow a homer for the first time in five starts. Chicago is returning home from a 2-4 trip that ended with a frustrating 7-1 loss to San Francisco on Wednesday. The Giants scored all their runs in the seventh after a replay overturned an out call at home. The White Sox have lost 30 games this season after holding a lead, the third-highest total in the Major Leagues behind Texas (36) and Toronto (31) Standings: http://i.imgur.com/OhxMuIe.png http://i.imgur.com/SKMNoHj.png Venue: http://i.imgur.com/cxXkdZZ.png http://www.andrewclem.com/Baseball/Diag/USCellularField.gif I hope you guys enjoy the GDT! Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 Must sweep this series. No excuses! Although I got a feeling Noesi will look like a Cy Young pitcher after tonight. Fingers x'd that he don't. :-/
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 Norris doesn't throw mid-high 90s Wilner lol.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 Norris doesn't throw mid-high 90s Wilner lol. People get "he touches" and "he sits at" confused far too often
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 On another note, I f***ing love our lineup with Lind and EE in it.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 People get "he touches" and "he sits at" confused far too often Has he even hit 97 or 98 when reaching back? I know from what I've read that he sits at 91-94 and occasionally hits 95, does he even reach high 90's multiple times a game?
GD Old-Timey Member Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 On another note, I f***ing love our lineup with Lind and EE in it. I would too if the years of disappointment hadn't emotionally detached me. Yeahh, it's that time of year again.

Could be wrong.

JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 Reyes hits one hard that didn't find a glove! It seemed like Reyes had a glove magnet in some of those hit balls at times.
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 Come on EE! Let's see that sweet swing we've missed for all these weeks!

Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 I am wearing an Oswaldo Arcia shirsey, though. How many people can say they own an Oswaldo Arcia shirsey? Probably doesn't have one himself.
