burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 I'd say closer yo a 4. on pace for 2.5 WAR and including this game still has a FIP of under 4. He's been a pretty good starter this season, you can't deny that.
Caper Verified Member Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 Well at least this is the last time I ever have to see Brad Mills. Would have been funner if they called Frank Viola III
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 Well....i think we know who's getting DFA after this game.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 Man Mills is a BP machine. Still you gotta let him pitch. Use Tolleson if you have to for the 8th.
bluebird Verified Member Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 hahahahahaha hes so bad 87 mph fastballs
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 Can we just shoot Mills? I mean really? Just break his arm? I know they're desperate for BP help after last night's game but Delabar or Drabek couldn't be worse.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 I guess this ends the unofficial Brad Mills for LOOGY campaign.
jays76 Verified Member Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 Don't get anyone up Gibby, save the pen. I don't like leaving Mills hanging out to dry but he should've got out of that 3 batters ago, he needs to take the tough love and stop sucking so much.
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 Did Mills actually get a single out or did they beat him around like a sock in a tornado?
Vincent Verified Member Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 Great job from Mills! .......... WHAT THE f*** WAS THAT s***
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 I don't deny it at all. Just simply stating he's been a bit inconsistent. Certainly has had so e monster starts mixed in with some serious duds. Tonight was one of them, albeit a bit unlucky. I don't think you could say he pitched bad tonight though. He only gave up a couple hard hit balls. His defence was awful including Navarro who turned some of his strikes into balls. Even the Cano HR looked like a flyball that carried a ton.
FireAlexAnthopoulos Verified Member Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 The fact that this scrub Mills was actually brought BACK to the majors after that embarrassing showing against the Sux a month ago just further encapsulates how clueless this front office is. There seriously wasn't anyone else available?
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 Damn Brad Mills is tossing up some cookies up there.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 Can they just call the game due to rain? We could really use the rest. Edit: I am aware that the roof closes.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 If only the rain came 1.5 hours earlier.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 too bad safeco has a roof and the game can't be called..
NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 The fact that this scrub Mills was actually brought BACK to the majors after that embarrassing showing against the Sux a month ago just further encapsulates how clueless this front office is. There seriously wasn't anyone else available? It was his day to pitch for Buffalo... he was the right choice for mopup man.
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 Now Rasmus gets a hit after the game is pretty much over.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 Colby now hitting 101 wRC+ on a 280 BABIP
jake Verified Member Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 mills got an out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
jake Verified Member Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 Now Rasmus gets a hit after the game is pretty much over. that will help his contract bid
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 This is not a loss anyone should be mad about. It was hard enough to face Felix, but after yesterday's 19 inning marathon our chances were bleak. We just have to hope that players get a good rest tonight, with Lindy back tomorrow we'll get a good boost to our lineup.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 Alright guys, I'm outta here. Hopefully we have some better luck tomorrow.

No one expected us to win so you shouldn't be mad about Mills being terrible as it doesn't matter.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 Now Rasmus gets a hit after the game is pretty much over. Rasmus is 2/3 today... He's hardly the problem
Vincent Verified Member Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 Still has only record 1 out.......................................
CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 s*** guys. I kinda feel bad for Mills. He must feel like s*** right now and humiliated.
Vincent Verified Member Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 Wow... what nightmare outing from Mills.
