Thing is, they were down by 5 today against David Price and they won the game...could easily say this one should've been a loss. Take the 2 of 3 and move on..

That is what made the game even more amazing. How could this team, as it is currently made up, come back from such a huge deficit and against good pitching as well. Great win for the Jays.

What a game. I had to catch up a bit on PVR, got the TSN text, just read "blue jays" then stopped reading. So it wasn't a total spoiler.

 

Unbelievable performance by the pen. What a come back. Played 2+ games on a Sunday afternoon. Francisco is s***. Bautista had a rough game but got the big hit. Rasmus was amazing in the field. So much drama. WOW.

DD has a great trade history! I tend to think he's decent overall; you could do a lot worse with old school GMs.

 

Cherington's alright but he's not near Beane-Friedman levels.

What a game, by far my favorite GDT. I can't believe I was on there for 6 plus hrs with you yahoos. Reyes costly errors and then redeeming himself, Buehrle typically being a pinata, Melky being an absolute beast, Joey Bats blowing a billion chances and then finally cashing in, Chad Jenkins digging crazy deep within himself and gutting out a victory...and before I forget how about a round of applause for our forgotten hero Todd Redmond, the guy came in down 5-0 and held the fort for multiple innings to get us within striking distance.

That was a great game. I was mainly watching the PGA championship but kept coming back to see so many squandered chances by both teams. Detroit gets 22 hits IIRC and only cashes in 5 runs wow.

Man what a great game this one. I obviously stayed the whole game like a true fan, by the end nobody remembered that at one point it was 5-0 and Reyes had completely f***ed up the game. This was one of the only times since Reyes has been on the team that I was actually glad when he came up to bat, the guy cleaned up his mess big time, props to him.

One of the my friends was invited to a house warming party downtown during the game, and the other isn't a sports fan at all, so we all decided to just take off. And I had a feeling the game might come to a point where I would be begging for it to be over. Six and a half hours is insane.

Not only did we get to see Jenkins perform spectacular and watch the longest game in jays history but also Melky getting on base 8 times. First time since 1972!
