JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Full count, payoff pitch, come on Kawi blow it open!
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 UGH! He was looking for something else 2-0 is better than no runs. Made him work. Ran his count up. Tire him out a bit. Hutch get in there, make it a quick inning and let's have the bats go back to work.
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Dam. Nice pitch. You could see the reaction by Kawi that he was a bit fooled and knew it was nasty.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Rogers on Demand is being its usual wonderful self today... Froze literally as Chen released that last pitch and then came back with a commercial.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Kawasaki needs to take chances at the plate sometimes and be a bit more aggressive in favorable counts, instead of being so defensive and looking for the walk. He has to know he was getting a fastball 3-2 with the bases loaded, get the f*** on it kid.
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Awww, good AB though. Wish more of our players battled out at-bats like that instead of popping up on the 3rd pitch.
jays76 Verified Member Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Hutch got the no no going, hope I didn't jinx him.

Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Using the changeup makes Hutch so much better
Vincent Verified Member Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Good start but I hate strikeouts looking
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Using the changeup makes Hutch so much better When it bites like that batters just look foolish. If he can use that more often or in better places he'll be fine.
immature Verified Member Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Jesus. Davis heats up at the worst time.
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Of course. Wasn't he slumping to start the season and then started hitting vs. the Jays?
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Navarro is such a terrible catcher. 1. That curve down and away hit the corner. A good frame easily gets him the K but he just quits on the f***ing play. 2. Way to attack Davis low and away. It's his f***ing happy zone you idiots. JAM HIM INSIDE, HOW IS THIS SO HARD TO UNDERSTAND???
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Wtf....no changeup to davis...terrible pitch selection by navarro
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 In all fairness though he did get squeezed by a few borderline pitches. Yes he did get squeezed, but it does seem the ump is calling the boarderline strikes tonight. The two 3-2 pitches prior to the strike out pitch were very hittable if he was a bit more aggressive.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Whoever has been responsible for the plan to attack Chris Davis over the last two years (looking at you Pete Walker) should be ashamed of themself. Seriously. The guy destroys pitches on the outside corner. WTF is wrong with this coaching staff?
Iluvbjs Verified Member Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 f***ing ridiculous, even in the houston series, these idiots were getting burnt by f***ing scrubs like carter and singleton. Sub .200 hitters and these f***ing *******s are getting lit up by them. I would have traded this idiot at the deadline while he still had any value. A year from now and he is in Drabek territory. Anybody counting on this f***ing morn to be a viable piece of our future is about as dumb as they possibly come. Flat out loser.

Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Another changeup another K...why did navarro insist on fastballs to davis....so f***ing stupid

eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Davis has 5 HR in 39 AB against the Jays this year. 7 in 67 AB last year. They clearly have NO idea how to get this guy out. He's a really good hitter but he has holes in his swing. Jam the big f***ing POS inside. My god.
