CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 Gibbons managed this game like s*** lol
comeon sense Verified Member Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 Rasmus 90K vs 20BB this season. That might be acceptable if it were the pitcher named Rasmus but not this guy. I cant stand when he is in the lineup, unless gose is in as well.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 Awful call by not putting Francisco in for Valencia.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 Gibbons made some weird decisions tonight.
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 Start a new streak tomorrow. That's the 18th total team save for the Astros all season. CJ has 18 alone.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 Not the end of the world, we just need to pull it together and come back strong tomorrow.
comeon sense Verified Member Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 Gibbons managed this game like s*** lol Ironic, considering his quote after yesterdays win when asking to be mentioned for good managing skills. s***** loss!
DH12 Verified Member Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 And the Orioles just keep on winning. they are an incredible 9 wins on an incredibly tough 14 game western road trip.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 Bad managing by Gibby... Loup should not have been facing 2 righties to start the inning Petit isn't righty or lefty, he's a s***** hitter. Jays unable to score runs today
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 That was a waste. Happ was solid, just couldn't get any offense going tonight.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 Eh. Got beat tonight. Bound to happen. Get 'em tomorrow.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 Awful call by not putting Francisco in for Valencia. He must be hurt or something, no reason for him to not have STARTED over Valencia today.
DH12 Verified Member Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 Rasmus is hitting .218 in a friggen contract year and can't manage to make it to the park on time in a pennant race.
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 I cant stand when he is in the lineup, unless gose is in as well. Last year it looked like he started to turn the corner, put everything together, and seemed like he'd head into this year picking up from last. Then he crashed to earth. .197/.288/.380 in July OUCH! 42 AB in May were his best all year. This late in the year it might be worth benching him if he doesn't get the bat moving. At least Gose is a threat to steal and can bunt when needed.
comeon sense Verified Member Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 Eh. Got beat tonight. Bound to happen. Get 'em tomorrow. Dickey will be ready.
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 Rasmus is hitting .218 in a friggen contract year and can't manage to make it to the park on time in a pennant race. He'll be lucky to get 4th OF money next year if he keeps this up. Glad they didn't sign him long term. Maybe AA can flip him for BP help or something since there's no way he gets a QO.
comeon sense Verified Member Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 I will have more confidence in them winning the next game if gose is in the lineup.
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 And the Orioles just keep on winning. they are an incredible 9 wins on an incredibly tough 14 game western road trip. Hopefully their luck runs out when the Jays take them on. 2.5 games out of first. If they can hold that, take the next two against the Stros and head against the O's, could take first.
shortstop Verified Member Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 Colby has been misreading done balls aa well
comeon sense Verified Member Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 Why was Francisco not PH for Valencia???????????????????????????? Good question !
CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 Btw Miller won the game for the O's tonight. Got the O's out of a big jam
DH12 Verified Member Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 Dickey will be ready. Dickey seems to be sharpening his game lately and actually playing up to his status lately. At least that's what I sensed last game.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 Terrible game all around except for Happ. Bullpen lost another game. Hope Dickey is on tomorrow.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 Btw Miller won the game for the O's tonight. Got the O's out of a big jam He walked a hitter and got two outs, not exactly Chapman-lite.
DH12 Verified Member Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 He walked a hitter and got two outs, not exactly Chapman-lite. miller >> loup
