Chappy Community Moderator Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 Is Buck slurring his words more than normal tonight or is it me? Buck is untouchable. He is just enjoying the Jays run. A couple dozen pre game drinks never hurt anyone.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 f***ing bull s*** luck. Last night too.
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 I have to give them credit, that was a hell of a play.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 After having such a good first AB Reyes just looked like s*** swinging at two terrible pitches. I dont get it..
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 Reyes did a great job taking in the 1st, but hacking away now.

gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 This is the 2013 (maybe a bit better) version of Ryan Goins. To start the year it's obvious he was trying to be too perfect to prevent a demotion. The right coaching and approach (plan),this kid has the fundamentals to hit well enough to stick, like i've always said he has.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 the dunkin donuts sign is making me hungry. who is going to send me a box of cruelers?
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 Gonna need at least 5 runs to win this one. MB isn't exactly inspiring a lot of confidence.

Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 MB is s*** right now. 8 runs and easy win This ^^^^^

He's hot right now and deserves credit for his performance the last few games but he's not a starter. I actually think he'd be a pretty solid backup infielder. As I say this he saves a run. Atta boy!
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 Ryan Goins has had a very material impact on this team since his callup guys. Pretty undeniable. That glove is so smooth.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 Defense is definitely a thing. With MB on the field you pretty much have to field the best defensive team possible.
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 Anything hit in the same zip code as Goins, he smothers it and get the out.

I agree starting is a stretch, but he should be on the 25 man. When Lawrie is back he'll start at 2B with a Francisco / Vallencia platoon at third. In late game leads,Goins to second and Lawrie shifts over to third.
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 Oh Holt you slick fielding mofo
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 This guy has a horseshoe shoved up his ass. It could be 5-0 right now.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 I would but I can't guarantee that I won't eat most of them first. no reason to send me an empty box. lol first donut joint just go permission to be built in sweden this year. 4 hours away, but I can get some when I visit the kids. better for me they aren't on every corner. KFC just got permission to open as well. Sweden wants to know every ingredient and KFC have refused to give up their secrets. not sure how they got around it.
