Jays: Happ will try to nail down the series after shutting Boston out for six innings in a 7-3 victory on Tuesday. The left-hander owns a 7.52 ERA over his last six road games and is 2-2 with a 5.22 ERA in seven career starts versus the Yankees, though he held them to one run and four hits over seven-plus innings without a decision in a 4-3 loss on Sept. 18. Toronto, which had plated four runs or fewer in each of its previous 14 games at Yankee Stadium, is batting .323 while averaging 6.2 runs over a 4-1 stretch. Jose Bautista, who hit his 20th double Saturday, is 9 for 17 in that span, while Melky Cabrera and Dioner Navarro are each 8 for 20. Encarnacion felt some tightness while working out at the club's Minor League complex in Dunedin, Fla., on Friday. He was in the process of coming back from a strained quad that was sustained during a series in Oakland on July 5. The setback isn't considered serious, but it is yet another blow to a team that has been ravaged by injuries for the past month and a half. Encarnacion was nearing a return and there seemed to be hope that he would rejoin the Blue Jays next week in Boston or Houston. Skankees: Greene limited Cleveland and Baltimore to a combined two runs over 13 1-3 innings in his first two starts, but committed three errors and needed 113 pitches to get through 5 2-3 innings while giving up four runs in a 4-2 loss to Texas. He threw seven fewer pitchers over 7 1-3 innings in his previous outing at Baltimore. Derek Jeter, batting .353 during an eight-game hitting streak versus Toronto In 2014, the Yankees are the best in the Major Leagues with a 33-21 mark in games decided by two runs or fewer. intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 I can't watch this because Rogers is showing Tour de France, like last week when they showed darts instead of the Jays. Stream anyone?

intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 It's on sportsnet 1 if you get that I don't. I pay for basic + Food Network because the only thing I watch on TV is baseball and my girlfriend lives Food Network. Ugh, cycling. Ugh, darts.
Caper Verified Member Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 Roberto Osuna feature on pregame Two things. Why hasn't he pitched? and J A Happ still has a rat face.

wmoz11 Verified Member Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 Dat .222 BABIP. Just noticed Happ's is one hundred points higher. Two opposite ends of the luck spectrum, though I realize Greene is SSS.

closetjaysfan Verified Member Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 What now? Ranting about the HOF changes.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 Zaun is such a f***ing idiot... No kidding.. Sunday Roast = STFU
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 it hurts to say it, but I pretty much agree with everything zaun said... you'll probably never get that out of me ever again.
closetjaysfan Verified Member Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 That roast today was outstanding. It usually sucks but he hit the nail on the head on a lot of points. the only thing I agreed with was that rose should be in the hof
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 I agree with him that Pete Rose should be in the HOF, but the way he defended the "juicers" was hilarious. I wonder why..
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 the only thing I agreed with was that rose should be in the hof the only thing Zaun said that was out of place is, "if I was a hall of famer" those words should never come out of his mouth no matter what the conversation. The rest was spot on and fairly well put considering it was Zaun saying it.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 I was kinda hoping King would make the GDT.. but I guess this will do
AlbertaFan Verified Member Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 the only thing I agreed with was that rose should be in the hof I agree with that, but still I think your a fuking idiot. He nailed it this morning, everything he said was correct
closetjaysfan Verified Member Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 Which goes back to the main point that the hall of fame vote is tainted which it is. A new voting system where the members vote who belongs in is excellent. Who gives a s*** about sports writers who often only follow a couple teams anyway. He is banned from baseball. There is no vote. The 2 points have nothing to do with one another.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 I agree with that, but still I think your a fuking idiot. He nailed it this morning, everything he said was correct Who the f*** are you to call someone an idiot? "Everything he said is correct", says who? You have your opinion and he has is, simple as that.
