BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Thank Christ! nice job Loup. I would have snapped my crayons if JPA ties it with another bomb.... Good job today boys coming back after giving it up. 2 out of 3.
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 I couldn't take the suspense on my Rogers stream so I read this thread for spoilers. VICTORY BABY! Still shouldn't be battling out with TEXAS like this, but a win's a win.
CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Thank f***ing God for this W Now let's go A's!!!!
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 A win is a win but this wasn't pretty. You can't let the worst team in baseball come back into the game like that twice..
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Good series now keep the momentum rolling into next week
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Dan Johnson seems like a pretty chill bro.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Nice win. Next up is a tough Red Sox team, which the Jays have a decent record against (4-2) and no Jon Lester to worry about. They're leading 6-0 still in the 8th.. what's wrong with Yordano Ventura? No K's.. Oh, and Oakland up 2-0 as we speak on Jaso's 3B.
CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Guys I couldn't watch the game. Wtf was wrong with Buerhle today?
Governator Community Moderator Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 I really don't get the hate on JP... nor do I get the booing. Yes he's likely the worst player in the league who can hit a home run but some of you make it sound like he tried to rape your wife.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Guys I couldn't watch the game. Wtf was wrong with Buerhle today? Nothing, he walked a bit more than usual, but he was getting BABIP'd to death, in the end a 4.03 xFIP shows that he was decent.

I think many might be pissed he banged their girlfriends/wives while he was here....and no, he didn't need to rape them since they fully consented.

He constantly opened his mouth and made himself look worse, and even attacked Zaun and Hayhurst for doing their jobs. He's not a good person to go along with not being a good baseball player. I forgot to mention that at one point he said something along the lines of: "I'm not that different from Posey."

Oh I remember the back and forth and the overreaction to it. I just don't think it means he's a horrible person for being offended and singled out to millions for being a bad catcher. Just like they could have said, AA's a bad GM for not replacing the weakest catcher in the majors.

FireAlexAnthopoulos Verified Member Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 HAHAHAHAHAHA. God f***ing forbid JPA take a walk. NOPE. UPPERCUT THAT LOW s***. THAT'S HOW WINNERS PLAY. #TOP10CATCHER LMFAO. #BetterThanBusterPosey #GreggZaunUsedSteroidsSoThere

He's a petulant manchild who does nothing but blame others for his horrible play. Not that hard to root against a douchebag like JPA.

Peter1 Verified Member Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 LOL @ JPA's face during that last at bat today... reminded me of a dorky kid in highschool wanting to beat up the school bully, he looked so mad and frenzied
Candy Maldonado Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 Cant even dominate the Rangers The orioles taking care of business in Oakland huh Jays won and Orioles lost?
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 Sigh...........still cant help but worry about the Redsox coming to town. Wish I was more optimistic, Boston's offense still isn't that impressive, Cubs game and Astros series notwithstanding. They still aren't hitting for power (15th in SLG, dead last in runs scored, 4th in striking out, 2nd last in SB, worst in GIDP, and with David Ortiz showing regression due to age this season (only hitting .249) along with Pedroia's struggles, Boston's offense has been abysmal. No help is on the way, and Victorino isn't really a help.) Oh, and we miss Lester in the series.
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
