Why wouldn't you call up Goins, who is the backup infielder here, unless Kawasaki is healthy. Team still has Bautista to backup Outfield with Mastro

 

Is Gose already in Tampa today???? Will he be able to play against RHP today??? Arent we facing a LHP tommorrow

 

Why not just send Stroman down, and he wouldn't even miss a start plus you can have Goins up here too

Man that sucks for Reimold. Hitting well in AAA, gets his chance up here, hits well in a few games and gets hurt.

Really wanted to see what a healthy Reimold could do

 

Well now by the time he is back, Bautista will be back in RF (Hopefully) so we wont need him except on the bench against LHP, maybe at DH??

Yes he MIGHT be our best choice for 4th OF when JB is back but that Gose defense is just so......

Also would be much appreciated if Colby would wake the f*** up and start hitting some day. So tired of him being a .268 OBP 33% K black hole.

Rasmus has been downright awful. Career lows in average and OBP

 

Worse for him he is in a contract year, and practically killing his value. I reckon he has already lost 20-30 mil in a total contract that he would have signed, had he had a season similar to last year. I think its possible that to increase his value, he put too much emphasis on the long ball, and his OBP has suffered. also striking out more than he has ever had before.

 

Maybe the artificial turf is getting to him, he has been terrible at home. Would not resign,

Would prefer Gose over Pillar all day. Not even debateable. I'm shocked Pillar hasn't been moved in a minor league deal. Perhaps Pillar is safer than Gibbons.

 

It's not a matter of Gose Vs. Pillar, it's a matter of we have no backup infielder.

Fixed injuries and poor performance with reimold and Gillespie, a week later both are on the dl. lol

Apparently Bautista is RF full time now so I'm guessing we'll see:

 

POS RHP/LHP

C Navarro/Kratz

1B Johnson

2B Kawasaki

3B Francisco/Tolleson

SS Reyes

RF Bautista

CF Rasmus/Mastroianni

LF Gose/Cabrera

DH Cabrera/Navarro

Had to look this up. They can. But they have to be on the 25 man list handed in before the game. So it can't happen as a late game thing I guess.
