Bourjos Verified Member Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 Nah, just people who enjoy watching Tanaka pitch. It would be the same if Felix/Kershaw/Darvish went down. But but, it's the Yankees
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 But but, it's the Yankees Trout is the enemy, but I enjoy see the enemy f***ing us.
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 Yeah cause opening the MLB to 127,000,000 Japanese has worked out poorly for the MLB. Gotta love straw men.
TBJ12 Verified Member Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 Why should Jays fans give a f***? No reason to sugar coat this...I'm happy his arm might be f***ed and honestly hope it is!

Because you never want to wish injury on anyone. Why would you want a guy to be hurt so he has to stop doing what he loves and trains to do. I think most jays fans would agree that it feels better beating the best of the best. In a perfect world no one would be injured.

shortstop Verified Member Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 i think there's a distinction b/w cheering that a guy gets hurt & b/c of a player getting hurt, cheering of the implications of what that may mean for the blue jays... sucks Tanaka is down but since he is, that's good news for the jays and I guess the rest of the AL East & wild card contenders.
Caper Verified Member Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 Tanaka hurt. Great news. Hope they amputate.
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 Because you're not just a Jays fan. You're (presumably) a baseball fan, and a human being. In order of priority: Jays Baseball Humanity Every other team but the Yankees and Red Sox Red Sox Yankees Tanaka hurt pleases me.
shortstop Verified Member Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 Tanaka was/is definitely one of those players that if I happened to catch him on TV, I wouldn't change the channel...joy to watch him pitch & see how he handled a batter pitch by pitch...
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 Tanaka hurt. Great news. Hope they amputate. Why is everyone so keen to give Moogy the moral high ground here? I don't get it. You enjoy vindicating his smug sense of superiority?

I have the moral high ground. Chris Archer is pitching tonight. I hope he gets hit by a meteor on the way to the stadium.

Governator Community Moderator Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 I don't know what a platelet rich plasma injection is but it sure sounds high tech. Honestly, I don't like to see Tanaka go down from a sportsmanship perspective. If Buerhle was down earlier this year we'd likely have 4 or 5 more losses on the record too. I like to beat teams who field their best players. You could argue well the Jays are missing x, x, x so it balances out but if Tommy John Surgery is a possibility that does suck for them and we know from experience.

The Platelet rich plasma injection is what Jesse Litsch had, and it went wrong somehow, which forced him to retire.
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 When weak people are called on their weakness, they retreat into a caricature of said weakness. And celebrate it, as if their rebellion vindicates them. Again, basic human nature. Emotional immaturity. f*** off.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 maybe Karma does exist and all of you wishing injuries on other teams is what caused the Jays injuries. You all f***ed the Jays season and I hope get laid often (see that's good karma). In a side note did you see that Archer is 42nd on Nameberry's most searched boys names. I realize that it is, rightfully, influenced by the cartoon...but still pretty cool. Harper came 9th for girls names and 13th for boys.

reedjohnsonfan Verified Member Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 I'm surprised some idiots are putting the Jays above an elite pitching talent in Tanaka. Grow up.

Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 Dismissive aversion and anger are also indicators of said immaturity. As is being argumentative for no reason
Bourjos Verified Member Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 Agreed. You should stop that. http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=pissant
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 lol'd because the one Moogy post I was able to read through ignore filter in this thread was KingKat's quote where he's talking about other's weaknesses and insecurities. http://i.imgur.com/py2PxcN.gif
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 and everyone likes ass play, unless they're a homophobe, or have some odd ass deformity/disease. Only you can prevent ass disease. wtf?!
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 If "wtf" stands for "With The Finger" ... Yes. You might want to move over to xhamster, youporn, and red tube sites.
