imiss9293 Verified Member Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 Why do the Jays players seem afraid to try and steal?
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 Are you ready? 2015 32 Toronto Blue Jays $22,000,000 2016 33 Toronto Blue Jays $22,000,000 2017 34 Toronto Blue Jays $22,000,000 2018 35 Toronto Blue Jays $22,000,000 lol
imiss9293 Verified Member Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 This is a bad baseball team. Looking a lot like last years, May was a fluke of everything going right at once. Team is bad fundamentally, and doesn't play winning baseball. HAve not seen hitters make any basic adjustments for a month now.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 They're a bottom feeder currently 1 game out of first place. Talk about lucky. so what does that make the O's and yankees?
TheHurl Site Manager Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 Is that contract tradeable? Do other teams still see Reyes the star ?? Yep Tigers would love to have him still.
Anemic0ffense Verified Member Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 They're a bottom feeder currently 1 game out of first place. Talk about lucky. That hot May was a mirage. This is a poorly coached team with no killer instinct. Don't be surprised if we're 81-81 at years end.
Candy Maldonado Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 Boston is coming back, down 6-5
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 The Yankees suck. Orioles are just inconsistent. oh okay the jays are bad but the O's are inconsistent, tough to beat that logic when everything to the contrary says the opposite

Yep, homers saying "We are only 1 out of first" or "Lots of baseball left", are just that homers..Team has a tonne of holes, does not do the little things like move runners over, manufacture runs, defense has been very bad. This team is crashing back to reality. Lack of a killer instinct, team is weak mentally. Folds at the first sign of adversity or pressure. No reason this offense should be this bad for this long, terrible approach at the plate with zero adjustments.
xposbrad Verified Member Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 They're a bottom feeder currently 1 game out of first place. Talk about lucky. With EE likely headed for the DL. So, let's revisit the standings in 2-3 weeks and then you can say '5' games out of first.

Seems position players just have no confidence and its showing their Abs.
CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 Seriously, this team never steals bases. Reyes should have put more pressure on Samardzija and the A's defense.

Don't tell the homers that, they're living in a dream world where we're the best team in baseball and have a commanding division lead. They don't like being reminded of reality.

Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 Boston with the comeback against Baltimore!
NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 Napoli! Red Sox - Orioles is tied. Boston with two huge two-out singles.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 Outside of a 20-4 strech this team has been pretty bad dude. Wake up and smell dat morning roast. Listen the jays are better then the O's, this whole division is mediocre. Don't big up another team just to put down the jays
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 Boston with the comeback against Baltimore! Ruined a great outing by their "ace" Kevin Gausman (he's their best pitcher) Too bad the combo of McFarland, Matsuz, Webb and Hunter have combined to blow a 6-1 lead.

eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 This team just cannot win in large parks. Impossible. This currently constructed team would get destroyed playing in the AL West.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 I have a really bad feeling about EE. When he said he heard a pop I immediately though ACL but even a torn quad he could be out for the season.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 We're down by 1 yet many ITT have already jumped off the ledge. Reds game is long forgotten. It's like we didn't just mini-sweep the best team in baseball earlier in the week.
imiss9293 Verified Member Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 We're down by 1 yet many ITT have already jumped off the ledge. Reds game is long forgotten. Your dillusional if you thin this team is going anywhere. At least we have a few young players to watch grow.
FireAlexAnthopoulos Verified Member Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 instead of discarding anytime we've played well as a fluke to present a pessimistic view May was a fluke, as evidenced from how this team has played the rest of the season so far. Sorry, but it is what it is.
frizzer1 Verified Member Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 I don't think Gibbons is at all to blame for this but the last time he was here they folded and Hillenbrand wrote that unforgettable "this is a sinking ship"....so who's going to write that this time?
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 Your dillusional if you thin this team is going anywhere. At least we have a few young players to watch grow. keep going, you're close
imiss9293 Verified Member Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 It's like we didn't just mini-sweep the best team in baseball earlier in the week. How is that relevant to the overall downward spiral this team is in? Cherry pick much?
