HAs nothing to do with Streaks..record...This is a team with many holes, it is not a good team. They will be around .500 at best at the end. Offense is too all or nothing (Same as last year), full of players who do not play smart baseball. Same team as last year looks like it, not surprising.

20-4 is totally unsustainable and an incredibly lucky hot streak where everyone was hot at once, there record besides that is terrible....this is not a good team.

How is that relevant to the overall downward spiral this team is in? Cherry pick much?

Yep, homers saying "We are only 1 out of first" or "Lots of baseball left", are just that homers..Team has a tonne of holes, does not do the little things like move runners over, manufacture runs, defense has been very bad. This team is crashing back to reality. Lack of a killer instinct, team is weak mentally. Folds at the first sign of adversity or pressure. No reason this offense should be this bad for this long, terrible approach at the plate with zero adjustments.

Looking a lot like last years, May was a fluke of everything going right at once. Team is bad fundamentally, and doesn't play winning baseball. HAve not seen hitters make any basic adjustments for a month now.

Reyes is my least favourite Jay, seems to make stupid mental mistakes often, is poor on Defense, and is not exactly hitting, what a waste of money he has been. Reyes is not a winner.

LMAo he gets hit hard in the NL......it will be worse in the AL, he has not been one of the best pitchers in the NL not even close. Santos has been crap, not exactly helping your argument.

Juan is not smart at the plate, keeps chasing the same garbage over and over and over. This team needs smarter, more professional hitters.

Cannot believe the Jays issue is offense not pitching, the pitching has been way better then anyone could have predicted. Bautista's at bat is a perfect example of the terrible approach from everyone on this team, trying to pull low and away pitches over and over....no one is trying to go the other way, swinging at bad pitches, not waiting for there pitch. Bautista all he had to do was wait for something he could drive, instead he swings at a pitchers pitch. The season is slipping away, lost so many winnable games the last month, this team does not have what it takes mentally to win. Trade EE and Bautista now before there value is low. This team is not winning.

Silly post, it's not all bad luck please, a pitcher who makes a good pitches don't just strike people out, they induce weak contact. mccarthy has Not pitched well, he often leaves pitches over the middle and gets hit hard. I laugh at these advanced stats people who think it explains everything. They can show a pitcher has pitched better then his numbers, but mccarthy is not one such example. BABIP is also an indication os inducing weak or good contact, it's not all luck thats ridiculous. Mccarthy won;t change the balance of power or is not much of an upgrade over anyone we already have.,
