Yeah. Beginning from the STL series, which seemed to be where the offense went bye-bye, Jays are 8-14. This is the worst stretch the team has had so far. Started the season 13-17 before going into a 5-game win streak and ending up with a wonderful 30 or so games. Jays look very April 2013 right now.

Mastro didnt just come up...he has been in the majors before and isnt he like 3 yrs older than gose

Ok, so we are going to nitpick eh? Mastroianni is definitely older but age is not the best measuring stick for smarts. Mastroianni also played 1 year more with his one at bat in 2011 so I guess you are right there as well. Gose has played 148 MLB games versus Mastroianni's 117 so Mastroianni has less experience at the MLB. Bottom line, Jays need to do something about better coaching, especially with respect to instilling baseball fundamentals, at the lower levels. There have been numerous instances of poor fundamentals with call-ups - This is not the level players should be learning about this stuff.

Well nothing is normal about this series. There are regulars (Cabrera, Lawrie, and Bautista) who are not in the lineup first of all and then they are faced with another anomaly in that 3 of the 4 opposing starters are lefties so desperation is certainly the only option at this point.
