havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Reporter: "Gibby your thoughts on Orgfiller tonight?" Gibby: *Throws hands up in the air* "What is there to say? This kid really is unbelievable. Made a couple of rookie mistakes at the beginning, but settled down and gave us a gem and most importantly another W. All we've asked out of this kid was to maybe eat up a few starts before Cow returned, but he has far exceeded our expectations. I'm happy for the kid, and hopefully he keeps the ball rolling". Barry Davis: "With that being said Gibby, what's the plan for this weekend?" Gibby: "We're going to go back to Org for the start tomorrow before we give him the well deserved day off on Saturday. I picked Saturday because that's a Chris Sale start, and we don't really want to put too much pressure on the kid going up against one of the top pitchers in our game this early in his career. At this moment the starter for Saturday is TBD, but we may call up Ang from Buffalo and give him a try. As for Sunday, Org will go back out there and get another start."

CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 I can't watch it right now. What happened? Kawasaki was on "Intentional Talk" today, and Rose and Millar kept asking him random questions and Millar would laugh like an idiot every time Kawasaki would say something. He's clearly laughing at him and not with him... what an *******.
CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Millar's a jackass. Yup... Love your avy though, Colon is the man!
Convo Verified Member Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Millar's a jackass. Wasn't that bad... Kawasaki's a comedian
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 So what did the Hawk do tonight (if anyone watched the White Sox broadcast)?

KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Wasn't that bad. KAwa is fricken amazing. He should have his own show. He didn't do anything wrong but that fake laugh of his is like nails on a chalkboard.
BlueJaysGirl Verified Member Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 I don't think Millar was being a prick, I just think he find Mune incredibly entertaining. Millar is also known around the league as a really nice guy I thought. Anyway, I didn't get anything bad from this video. I could be wrong. Pillar on the other hand...
wilko Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 So what did the Hawk do tonight (if anyone watched the White Sox broadcast)? His head probably exploded with the Sierra throw.
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 That's Kawasaki's entire gig. He wants people to laugh at him... the amount of laughing people do at him is a big reason why he's in the Major Leagues. He's hilarious and is a good source of comic relief for the team (and he's in on it, don't think he's oblivious to what's happening). I think the thing that is grating is that Millar acts as if Kawasaki is oblivious, like people who don't speak English are dumb and it's o.K. to laugh at them even when they aren't doing anything particularly funny. It's doubly annoying because of that ridiculous forced laugh of his. It doesn't make him an ******* though. Like Kawasaki, he's just doing his shtick and obvioulsy Kawa is on it to some degree. It just so happens Millar's shtick is annoying and comes off douchey and Kawasaki's shtick is entertaining and make him endearing.

Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 I don't think Kawasaki cares either way, he seems like a happy go lucky guy.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Need him back vs Sale. Any chance???
