GDTFaS: Orgfiller had a good outing. Kept his Reactionary/9 low whilst maintaining a solid thanks/post ratio. His xPost- was above average, and we'll take that from the young kid, all the stats point to him regressing to the mean, not to mention that the trolls lost him some runs that an above average poster would have gotten. Promising start.

 

AnemicPosting: Wow, here we go again with the "luck" excuses. He was horrible, were you not watching the GDT? The stats don't mean anything as long as it results in a loss, fatcow wouldn't have let this happen.

Gibby mismanaged the pen a bit tonight. Bringing in Rasmussen in a one run game against NYY was very, very questionable.

It was actually kinda weak. I would admit if it was a good impression too. Try again guys.

Some bad decisions by gibby, and walks really hurt..Very frustrating game, a game that was very winnable. Always felt like we had runners on base but could not deliver after melky's hit.

To me, this is Gibbons' only major flaw as a manager; new bullpen guys, usually the lowest on the depth chart, get thrust into high leverage situations. Same thing with Korecky a while back.

If Rasmussen isn't fit to pitch in a close game, then we have three such relievers (Rasmussen, Jenkins, Redmond) which is two too many and falls on AA. I would have pulled Rasmussen after hitting Jeter though, that's my only gripe.

The issue was not going to rasmussen, the issue was he clearly left him in too long when everyone at the park knew he simple did not have it
