Why would you PH Gose? Pillar has a higher chance of putting the ball in the air.

That matters? With the bottom of the order, the best shot you got was a sac fly. Pillar hits an incredible amount of fly outs.

Awful game by Gibbons.

 

I agree here... Loup should have been in first, But after he made that mistake he compounded it by not giving McGowan a quicker hook...

 

But... In McGowans defense , two errors didn't help. Fundamental baseball and he'd have been out of the inning still with 2 or 3 run lead.
