You are absolutely right...you usually are.

You demonstrate an uncanny grasp of the complexities of baseball statistics.

RD has 194 ABs, but needs 210 to be a qualifier (possibly the games he missed while injured may have an impact, but he will be back qualifying soon, as he has been for 99% of the season so far).

I am sure you know that most clubs only have 5 or 6 players in their lineup who actually "qualify"?

Toronto only has 5 and Jose Reyes only makes it by 1 AB...he has 227 and needs 226.

The next time Reyes misses a game, he will cease to be a qualifying regular, just like Rajai has.

Then Toronto wil have only 4 qualifying regulars...on a team with 9 positions!

Pretty amazing, huh?

You fight trolls by ignoring trolls. I know it's tough some time but it's the way to do it. I have started to hand out warnings to people to people who respond to someone accusing them of being one of the trolls from the old board. The accusations are ruining threads as much as trolls do. If you think it's a troll report and say why. If you respond you are in direct violation of my personal rules which I just came up with a couple of days ago. 1 warning then ban.

Juiced used to be an a-hole but I get that. I used to get pretty passionate and intense too, but people are allowed to grow up. Worrying about his past like Spanky is doing is stupid, because he doesn't act like that anymore. I can still get annoyed but now if I see a conversation going downhill in a thread, instead of responding, I just don't go in that thread again, because I know if I read what they say it would entice me to write back.

 

The board has good mods and it has an ignore function. A lot of us are too old to be acting like complete idiots on here anymore. Ignoring trolls or posters that annoy you is super easy. Being an idiot on the message board does not help in dealing with them.
