Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Not the greatest start, but also not the greatest ump. The greatest ump is still terrible... this guy is bad compared to other terrible umpires...
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Not a terrible start by stroman...too many pitches to just a couple of batters did him in
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Not the greatest start, but also not the greatest ump. Young kid. Got rattled by the strike zone. He didn't implode. He'll bounce back. Stuff wasn't terrible. I think he just got a bit too rattled.
orpheus Verified Member Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Record this game for a perfect example of how an umpire can have a major effect on a game.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 You gotta be f***ing kidding me Brock Holt.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Stroman acquiring experience each outing, in 6 weeks he'll be a beast
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Record this game for a perfect example of how an umpire can have a major effect on a game. Hurts even more because it's the first game of the series. Loup and a few others likely won't be available tomorrow at this rate.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Following on game day during meeting Why was Stroman taken out???
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Anyways I think we can all agree that Navarro is our worst catcher. Nothing worse for a young kid with the worst ump to also have a terrible framer/game caller behind the plate.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Anyways I think we can all agree that Navarro is our worst catcher. Defensively.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Can someone tell me why Tanaka is getting ALL the calls on low pitches for strikes whilst Stroman pitches more up in the zone for ball calls? Seriously, what the f***! Navarro is worst than jpa at framing pitches is part of the problem....other part is the corruptness of the ump
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Following on game day during meeting Why was Stroman taken out??? Lefty coming up. I think it was the right call.
jerb Verified Member Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 John Lott Verified account @LottOnBaseball One reason Stroman’s pitch count soared: Yankees hit 25 foul balls, including eight in one AB by Gardner and seven in one AB by Beltran.
BlueJaysGirl Verified Member Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Because it's "good for the league" when the Yankees win, so they get their way all the f***ing time. I can't even begin to describe how much I hate the Yankees and that ******** Yankee mystique, those f***ing fans seem to feel as entitled as government employees. #hater

eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Defensively. Offensively as well, arguably.
vdubmvp Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 lol the reactions to a strike being called a strike
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Offensively as well, arguably. Not really. He has the best bat from the three.
vdubmvp Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Nice. Now get Tanaka out of the game.

eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Good job Loup. We`ve got a chance. They need to f***ing work Tanaka and get him out this inning.
