declan_44 Verified Member Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 Big question is though, can he stick?
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 Odd choice. Didn't see that one coming.
NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 Nice to see Muni back. He's already doing the Jose Reyes '7' sign lol:
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 Odd choice. Didn't see that one coming. Lind to DL, Francisco/Kratz/Navarro DH.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 Odd choice. Didn't see that one coming. AA likes to keep us on our toes
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 Lind on DL seems likely Francisco facing all righties I believe and his "soft" fly balls could reach that RF porch
Maahfaace Verified Member Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 One more: I've missed Muni! Me too, but I don't miss that turd standing next to him
Caper Verified Member Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 I must admit. I love watching his ab's. He can barely hit it out of the infield. But he can work a count.
Anemic0ffense Verified Member Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 It's definitely Lind to the DL. Saki is such a jigga.
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 I don't see why this is a surprise. This seemed the obvious move as soon as Lind was injured. With Francisco back to DH, Lawrie can move back to 3rd full time and Kawa can platoon with Tolleson. With Getz retired, the only other option was Goins. You don't keep splitting Lawrie between two positions if a spot opens up for Francisco. The only question now is whether Lind is merely day to day of flat out on the DL. If it's Cecil on the DL and not Lind, expect Kawa to be swapped out for a pitcher once Lind is healthy.
Chappy Community Moderator Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 I love Muni He is here to provide a scouting report on Tanaka.
flafson Verified Member Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 Both Goins and Muni have around .275 average in AAA. I guess AA wanted the better fun effect against the little bit stronger defense that Goins brings.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 He is here to provide a scouting report on Tanaka. Kawaski's scouting report on Tanaka: "Heeee isss Japanese!!!"
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 What about Rasmus? Supposedly Wednesday Then likely Gose to AAA
flafson Verified Member Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 What about Rasmus? He has 19 AB's and his avg is .158. He was 0 for 4 today with 3 K's. He probably needs more time.
Chappy Community Moderator Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 Supposedly Wednesday Then likely Gose to AAA Then who is the fourth OF?
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 Then who is the fourth OF? s***, forgot Pillar already optioned brain fart

ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 Against RHP: Francisco 3B Kawasaki SS Lawrie 2B Reyes DH

Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 Kawasaki up = Vs RHP: Lawrie 3B, Kawasaki 2B, Francisco bench
Maahfaace Verified Member Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 Kawasaki up = Vs RHP: Lawrie 3B, Kawasaki 2B, Francisco bench don't you mean LHP?
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 don't you mean LHP? My point is ............ The Francisco's experiment apparently is coming to an end. Francisco soon will demand frequent play and we all know that he does not deserve it.
