Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 Listening to the game, it sounds like Colby misplayed a ball that would have got him out of the inning. That will be a nightly occurrence once he is back up here
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 No surprise on Sanchez, struggles continue.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 Not that bad for first time... Oh please don't start I mean we're all rooting for him to get better but a 2/1 K/BB is not acceptable idc Ugh I hope this somehow works
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 Defense was horrible behind Sanchez...easily cost him 3 runs
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 I think that the Cubs wouldn't trade Shark for Sanchez++
GD Old-Timey Member Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 Defense was horrible behind Sanchez...easily cost him 3 runs Walked 4, struck out 2

GD Old-Timey Member Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 Sounds like dickey, buehlre and happ...ur point? Cause Mark f***ing Buehrle walks 4 and strikes out 2 so often. Yeah, Mark Buehrle, he of the 8.3% K-BB% in his career. That's just egregious. Awful.

Caper Verified Member Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 This is what happens when you promote someone who didn't do anything to deserve it. Who f***ing cares? Did you have stake on the Bisons? All you f***ing meatheads that think he's going to fall over and die because he got hit are retarded. Let him get hit. Let him fail. Let him figure it out against the best hitters outside of MLB.
admin Site Manager Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 This is what happens when you promote someone who didn't do anything to deserve it. Maybe they just said f*** it, we can't help this guy, maybe someone in AAA can help him. I've personally given up on the guy, I hope he can prove me wrong. A couple years ago, his walk rates were okay vs righties (I think) and terrible vs lefties (may have them mixed). But lefties weren't hitting him so it wasn't bad. I figured he'd be able to straighten the walk issues out if it was just vs lefties. But last I checked it was terrible vs both left and right which makes me think he's not close to fixing it.

Nox Verified Member Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 Just skimmed this thread really quickly and might have not grasped the whole conversation but were people actually questioning whether the Jays should trade Sanchez for Zobrist? (As if Tampa would even consider it).

43211234 Verified Member Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 Zaun and McCown think the Jays and Rays should do Sanchez + Stroman for Price + Zobrist. And most people with a brain think Zaun and McCown shouldn't be paid to discuss player analysis and organizational moves. TB laughs as they hang up the phone.
