TheHurl Site Manager Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Did Buck just use Josh Willingham in the same sentence as "good defensive outfield?" Willingham is one of the worst defensive OF there is... made that out...I bet you feel pretty foolish now

saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Wrong ! Navarro is not good behind the plate. Too lazy. read my statement. I said he's good at calling games. Buehrle never shakes a sign off. I never said he's great defensively. He's average at blocking balls, below average throwing, and the voodoo pitch framing has him below average, but when it comes to handling pitchers and calling games, he's done a good job. He's got a .307 obp which is definitely better than what we had last year and he played hurt for a while..I think his offensive numbers will climb a bit.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Where do we rank hitting with RISP....feels like dead last, just terrible ABs

Convo Verified Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Happ just seems way too lackadaisical to be a major league pitcher. He acts like he's taking his dog for a walk in the park.
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Buehrle doesn't shake anybody. I know...that was the point....look at his performance last year vs this year.

o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Buck:Anthony Gose is a threat to steal, he is 3 for 5.... Gose is in trouble until baseball starts allowing hitters to steal first.

Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Kurt Suzuki runs really well for a catcher, I hate when scouts say they prefer a catching prospect to have a bigger build on him.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Need to answer Minnesota this inning...get some runs back

Buehrle never shakes off a sign from anyone and pretty much always hits the glove . Easiest pitcher to catch in baseball IMO. I think I dislike Navarro so much because he has the talent but shows uo to camp out of shape and is lazy and i disagree that he calls a good game.
