Long time reader, first time poster. I was lucky enough to enjoy the two World Series the 2nd year I moved to canada. Back to back was nice. Nothing ever since.

 

I feel posters here should chill a bit on RA. A ton of negativity here when his record is pretty solid at home.

I don't hate anyone involved with the Jays, but I really hated the move and still do...

 

But when did "he can't help it if he's not good" become something that mattered to sports fans? Remember when Aaron Hill or Josh Towers were booed out of town? That's the nature of being a fan of sport, ragging on bad players.

 

you didn't just say he was bad, you justified your hate with false data. if the jays want an ace it's going to cost them more than 20M AAV. (grienke has 26) Buehrle has been as close to an ace as the jays have had since Halladay.

 

Hill was absolutely brutal, but it was because the coaching staff were trying to make him into something he wasn't. Russ "I cant throw to first base" was a waste of space. never reached the level anyone thought he would.

 

 

the only player that I have really hated was Bumfiasco. to be that pathetic and still walk around like an arrogant douche was intolerable.

In a 5 game ALDS do you use him game 1 or 2?? Or do you wait and see how those go?

 

Personally, I go with Buehrle as the first starter, then probably a hard thrower like Stroman or Hutch, whoever is going best at the time. Dickey would be my #3.

if he's shown prior to playoffs he's pitching well/on a roll, i think you roll with game 1/2 scenario, assuming no other stud coming in at the trade deadline...then it's definitely a #2 or #3 game hypo...but if he's pitching like he is now...he's in the #2 or #3 conversation but with a stud, in the #3 or #4 conversation...i could see a situation where Stro Show is lights out & team rolls with stud #1, MB, Stro & either Dickey/Hutch whoever is pitching better...

Since I dislike both teams I'm hoping for a 16 inning marathon with each team scoring about 8 to 10 runs and beating the s*** out of their bullpens . Then they get the stomach virus.

Just want to say that Manny Machado is a giant douche bag. He's become my least favourite player in the AL East.
