John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 Just one of the many games in a season where everything goes wrong for your team and you lose. Nothing to lose sleep over.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 9 walks is pretty bad... Still though, does it really warrant booing a first place team that's just won a bunch of games in a row? You can jeer if this is a common occurrence nowadays but we both know it isn't. I was at the game yesterday, and a bunch of people left in the 9th inning of a 3-1 game, that tells me the "fans" don't know or give a s*** about baseball or the Jays.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 Lol the kid is working on a 2 hit complete game shut out and Im supposed to believe he hasnt pitched well? f*** xFIP Just wait for the pitch fx after the game, you see how many extra strikes this clown got.

Agreed but everyone knows they are booing the performance today and not the team overall (i hope). When baseball is not the primary sport in the city and skeptical fans finally come to the game, and drop over $200 if they are bringing a family, it does get to them to watch this game. Annoying as hell for the real fans though.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 Just one of the many games in a season where everything goes wrong for your team and you lose. Nothing to lose sleep over. This potential loss doesn't hold a candle to the way we lost the Reyes error game. It happens, you just have to expect the boys will be back at it the next day.
Bunchedundies Verified Member Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 Why are you here then? To post and complain to yourself? ?? Posting what is happening is not complaining, unless your IQ is that low you cannot differentiate between a post regarding time and place and the entire season? Herp derp. Why are you here? to cry over people crying? Good job slow clap.

John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 Are you f***ing kidding me? That ways in the other batters box...
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 Lol the kid is working on a 2 hit complete game shut out and Im supposed to believe he hasnt pitched well? f*** xFIP Multiple warning track shots would suggest he's been incredibly lucky, he hasn't exactly struck out a ton either. Wow thanks ump, great call.
Bunchedundies Verified Member Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 LOl at saying it's all luck...dudes pitched well, some luck but there always is.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 Yup. The ump isn't helping though. His awful calls on pitches outside are forcing the hitters to swing at s*** pitches. What the f*** was that last call?!?

You are so defensive, it's hilarious.
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 Shutout. Shutout shutout shutout. SHUTOUT?
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 How is this an unlucky loss? Our bullpen lost this game more so than the offense or the effectiveness of Miller.

Fandom is emotion; not rational thought - a fact (yes it is a fact) most of this board seems to forget. While I don't agree to the fact that they have been boo-ed, they did spend anywhere from 40 - 500 bucks to fill the stadium to see Blue Jays Win or at least make things interesting - this has been a stale game, outside of the 6th, for the offense and a very interesting pitching (in the negative way) throughout. You are sitting there for 3 hrs, in the sun, seeking entertainment. Have you been entertained? I haven't. Not saying the Jays are a bad team; this is just one of those games where all those fly balls didn't reach the stands - baut, lind, francisco, etc... - but just like every single poster here you so "Detest", most fans are as such - its day by day based on emotion. Who the hell looks at stats of Bautista if he goes 0 - 4 in a game and leaves 5 RISP; where's the clutch, where's the effect you need to cheer for? Anyway, that's the thought process - not what I am thinking. So stop judging them or any fans for that matter.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 Shutout. Shutout shutout shutout. SHUTOUT? In a 162 game season, shutouts are bound to happen, even to the BEST OFFENSE IN BASEBALL. For f***s sakes.
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 LUCKY two hit complete game shutout. that doesn't sound dumb at all.

Yep, obviously we are going to run into good pitchers And Loup was bound to have bad appearances. We should be glad it all happened in one game
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 Pretty tough to win without scoring a run. Yesterday they put guys on but couldn't get them home. Today, they've been shut down so nothing you can do. Hopefully, they get to Garcia tomorrow only thing is that Hutchison has struggled at the RC.

These guys are idiots, they think complaining about people complaining is Ok but not complaining, they whine about the same narrative every GDT, morons. Not everyone is the sme stop trying to dictate hoe people act. good luck getting through life that what, get off their high arrogant horse.
Randy The Robot Verified Member Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 Let me guess that called third strike right down the plate to Gose was luck...
Bunchedundies Verified Member Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 You're the one that has posted countless times today about how lucky the Cards have been. Hitting not pitching HERP DERP. And luck is involved every game, you don't shut pout a team like the Jays and it's all luck he pitched very well. Amazing how you cannot distinguish between simple points, you slow?
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 LUCKY two hit complete game shutout. that doesn't sound dumb at all. http://scores.espn.go.com/mlb/boxscore?gameId=300625130

Might be the luckiest WS team ever, they had everything go perfect for them last year. Luck? They make the playoffs it's because they performed well enough to make it, luck has zero to do with it. The Sox won a WS last year when many players played above expectations all year, it happens, maybe this year things break right for us, or maybe they fall back to be a mediocre team, luck has nothing to do with it, you are what yopur record shows.

I can't believe all this negativity over a team that was 20-4 in their last 24 games. This team is very good, but even great teams are prone to games like this over a 162 game season. Forget about this one and look forward to tomorrow. No big deal.
Bunchedundies Verified Member Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 You jump on people constantly, over every little thing. I honestly think you have a mental disorder. lol, is a game 4 innings?
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
