JJippidy Verified Member Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 That happens At least they're hitting. And more importantly, the pitching has been good. Its baseball, i say dont overthink it, youre going to have nights where the bats dont click, if you come out of it with a win against the defendind nl champs, well thats gravy. Team game, team win.

Team game, team win. Yep Plus I'm not going to complain about the offense. It's been phenomenal. Every game that we get a good start from Stroman and Happ is huge. They're the wild cards right now.

Every game that we get a good start from Stroman and Happ is huge. They're the wild cards right now. Offense has been stupid. All i know is i like this lineup and the question marks i see on the 25 man look like less than every other team in this division. Plus this board likes the idea of regression to the norm so... isnt it about time the jays get a few breaks along the way?
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 Not sure if already posted: "He's never looked over matched, over challenged, or too stressed out or scared at all." - Bautista today on Marcus Stroman
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 Where can I find postgame videos from the Jays? Jays.com only uploads Gibbons but not the players' videos usually.
8D Verified Member Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 jays on some kind of roll. just keep the momemtum going and big things can happen!!
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 Honestly, I don't want to get too excited but Stroman and Happ could be at least as good, if not better than the average #4/5 starters. Either could falter, but I sure like what I'm seeing. If they keep this up dickey will be our 5th starter.
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 Great game and im not sure if people have commented on this already, but those people who were booing a kid for going after a foul ball should get hit by a f***ing bus. Never been more embarrassed to be a Jays fan

Never been more embarrassed to be a Jays fan I'm sure they couldn't tell how close it was like he couldn't tell that he's in the way.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 We all love Stroman's slider/curveball, but it starts with his ability to put the fastball low and on the corners. Yes, he was missing his spots in the first 2 innings, but he corrected his mechanics and got stronger as the game went on. Lawrie's coming around, he hit 3 rockets on fastballs tonight.
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 I'm sure they couldn't tell how close it was like he couldn't tell that he's in the way. They should have as Im referring to the people who were in that particular section. I was sitting in the next section over so I couldnt see what exactly happened and just assumed a card fan ( as there were quite a bit I saw tonight) interfered. When i saw a 7 year old boy go after the ball and everyone around him boo, well it was quite appalling. Adult's getting on children they dont know is never okay regardless of what the child really does
Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 If Bautista had any balls he would have ran over and gave that kid a ball after the game if possible or give him a thumbs up as he ran off the field. I felt bad for the kid as he was only doing what a 7 year old fan would do.
