HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 CJ showing both Delbar and Jenknuts how it's done.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Lol @ two saves for Janssen on 4 pitches this series.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 CJ showing both Delbar and Jenknuts how it's done. Hey Jenkins was good plus he pitch in back to back games
AdamGreenwood Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Good bullpen management. Took Happ out at just the right time. It's funny how the managers are slaves to the saves. No save opportunity=no closer. The second a save becomes possible=bring in the closer.
Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Jenkins was a silent gift today. Our bullpen needed that rest.
labadee Verified Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Anyone watching the EE Jays Special? Never heard EE speak english for so long.
L54 Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Just finished my university career, and I didn't know that was a save situation. I'll eat crow on that one. Can someone explain why?

Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Were going streaking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SexyNewForum Verified Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 you say it's pretty simple but not really. It's still a save situation when you're up 3 runs, which means the tieing run is in the hole and not on deck. But then when you're up a bunch of runs and men start getting on base it becomes if the tieing runner is on deck?

If there is potential for 3 runs (at the cap, could be less depending on the difference) being scored as it stands on the field, its a save situation.
BlueJaysGirl Verified Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Still can't believe Happ beat Verlander. Happ is 5-2. Holy smokes.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Still can't believe Happ beat Verlander. Happ is 5-2. Holy smokes. Welcome scenario: Happ goes 15-7, AA picks up his option and trades him in the offseason for something nice.
JohnnyLonghorn Verified Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 And the Blue Jays win 10 of their last 11 road games lord have mercy
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 All will be well if the Orioles lose tonight. That's the only team whom I have my eyes on.

Red sox are supposed to have the same projected winning percentage as us for the rest of the season? I also don't expect the rays to go above .500 for the rest of the season either. Projections are always fun but they tell us nothing. Last year we were supposed to win the world series, but we all know how that turned out. Leafs also had like a 94% chance to make the playoffs at one point before they went down the drain.
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
