BarkatToronto Verified Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Spot on man, sums up this place, it's miserable place really until you ignore certain posters who think they can dictate what everyone else should say, do and act like. Seriously. These are the same old guys at the game, who walk around with their walkmans listening to the radio in their shorts. The baseball experts of the forum. The guys just said Yanks are winning f***, and on starts the harassment storm.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Dickey has only thrown 7 innings twice this year. Good chance to do that tonight if he doesn't blow up.
BarkatToronto Verified Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 1-2-3 for Dickey, Great Inning Come on boys can still pull this out.
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 C'mon Gose, please find a way on base to start the inning.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Great play otherwise would have been a hit
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Dem plays. I still don't like him, but dem plays.
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Looks like Dickey will give us 7IP tonight.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Seriously. These are the same old guys at the game, who walk around with their walkmans listening to the radio in their shorts. The baseball experts of the forum. The guys just said Yanks are winning f***, and on starts the harassment storm. Shut up, stop whining, and watch the f***ing game.
theblujay Verified Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 It's miserable because people like you constantly spew negative ******** in the GDTs, when the team is killing it in the past ~30 games. Read you're contributions to this thread. Spoiler: they're garbage. Who cares about the last 30 games, this is a GDT for this game. Its a game, there's ups and downs and we're all along for the ride. Enjoy it
Bunchedundies Verified Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 OK dickey has settle in, time for some runs.
Jonzo Verified Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 That Edge of Tomorrow movie looks pretty good.
Chappy Community Moderator Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Dickey has only thrown 7 innings twice this year. Good chance to do that tonight if he doesn't blow up. 7 would be great. For all his struggles he has kept it close.
Bunchedundies Verified Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Shut up, stop whining, and watch the f***ing game. LMAO the irony.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Dickey is nothing more than an innings eater. All I ask from him is to keep things reasonable close most nights. he's a bargain if they can get 230 innings and have him finish with an era around 4
BarkatToronto Verified Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Shut up, stop whining, and watch the f***ing game. Im not whining, just pointing out the facts.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Dickey is nothing more than an innings eater. All I ask from him is to keep things reasonable close most nights. He's pitching like a #3 should pitch. He really hasn't been that bad. The expectations were just too high I guess.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 A solo home run or two is fine. I pretty much expect that every Dickey start. The only times he gives up crooked numbers is when he either a) walks a bunch or gets bloop singled to death, and then a home run
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Too bad Dickey didn't fall and break his arm there. dont be an ass

But these Detroit pitchers though, deadly.
theblujay Verified Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Arrogant complaint posts are 10x more annoying than the actual negative in the moment comments they're complaining about.
Jonzo Verified Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 dont be an ass That was a joke. I don't wish personal harm on anyone. Except Gose, for failing to produce again... God damnit.
starfield Verified Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 I wish Anthony tried bunting in these situations
Chappy Community Moderator Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 He's pitching like a #3 should pitch. He really hasn't been that bad. The expectations were just too high I guess. Yeah that's a fair assessment. He has value to this rotation, but the expectations were just too high on him.
BarkatToronto Verified Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 There was a time when i thought Austin Jackson would be a perennial allstar
