well i kind of feel like they should at least fill the air time with something. i'd honestly rather see commercials than a screen saying "COMMERCIAL BREAK IN PROGRESS"

 

One of the best things about baseball though is that the breaks are short. Only 60 seconds. Way less than in hockey or football.
