havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Anti-stat trolling, grammar fails, and a complete lack of knowledge in one post. Sweet. Like "would of" on the old board lol.
NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 I appreciate Jonn's opinions. It's good to have people with contrasting viewpoints around.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Sorry I spoke on the internet in slang. FFS It's not slang, it's wrong lol

G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Great quality outing. My favorite part was the no walks. The big lead helped. But if he attacks and gets ahead he will be a joy to watch because his slider is a swing and miss pitch. I was worried the layoff after the first inning and the big lead might adversely affect him, but it didn't. Very happy.
Bunchedundies Verified Member Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 I swear some of you need to get knocked off your high horse. I know most of you grew up in a generation where mommy and daddy couldn't hit you. But life will hit back soon. When Stroman gets traded in a couple of months will see the reaction to his results. Either he was never that good or we traded the wrong guy again. Its the same people who bash Sanchez and say he will never make it when the kid isn't out of AA and hasn't even grown into his body yet. Minor league numbers is the gospel though! There is a lot of holier then thou, arrogant posters here, best to ignore them.. They are wrong as much as anyone, that are just self obsessed.

GD Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Uh, there were plenty of errors. Maybe you shouldn't be correcting people. You may take over, if you wish.

It is, amazing how you are only one of the few here who seems to be able to understand everyone has a different view on this forum lol. Some people cannot handle others having a different viewpoint without attacking the person, beyond sad.

Anemic0ffense Verified Member Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 On my phone right now, but check the news articles on our mlb.com page. Looks like they are leaning towards keeping Stroman in the rotation, and moving Hendriks to the pen. I sense a Redmond DFA coming soon.

Stroman should definitely be given a decent sized leash to stay in the rotation. More upside than Happ/Hendriks. Redmond has been terrible I'm fine with him being dfa'd. Not sure about Hendriks in the pen though. Why not demote him to keep him starting for depth.

Awesome Hendriks can piggyback Happ if he fails Seems like the best all around choice to me. IF Stroman performs at an acceptable level. Who will he start vs next, St. Louis?
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 Hendriks should be optioned back to continue starting in AAA. I wouldn't understand risking to lose Redmond to keep Hendriks when Redmond has done well as the long man. Just don't bring him into high leverage spots.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 (edited) Did you guys hear Gibby in the post game? He was asked about how May felt. He asked how many games they'd won in May. Someone told him 21. He says "well, in 2008... we won 20 games in May and had the best record in baseball. and then they fired me 3 weeks later". The room busted up laughing.
