TheHurl Site Manager Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 nothing used to frustrate me more than striking out on a change up
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 So what happened to Lawrie in the off-season? His batspeed just... sucks.
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 6 - Vargas 7, 8, 9 - Royals' pen (game over)
Frenchsoup Verified Member Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Lawrie should stick to dunking on 5ft high nets
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Lawrie is lost at the plate rn Why are we not playing Lind? idc about the LHP situation. Lind is hitting hard, and well. Should put him infront/behind edwin - not lawrie -.-
frizzer1 Verified Member Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 So what happened to Lawrie in the off-season? His batspeed just... sucks. Is it batspeed or the fact that he is waggling the bat when the pitch in on the way that makes him late...I thought they were working on making him quiet at the plate..may be they gave up..
Chappy Community Moderator Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Why are we not playing Lind? idc about the LHP situation. Lind is hitting hard, and well. Should put him infront/behind edwin - not lawrie -.- Guess you haven't followed Lind's entire career against LHP.
Smedley Butler Verified Member Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Wilner calling the game right now on the radjya, just called Billy Butler "Country Breakfast".
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Guess you haven't followed Lind's entire career against LHP. I understand the split %cts - but you really think he'd do worse than Lawrie (in the 4/5th spot)
IBTrini Verified Member Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Lawrie is lost at the plate rn I believe he needs to lose that uppercut swing. Someone must have slipped some "Just swing for the fences" pills in his Red Bull drink.
NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Well I'm going to switch over to the Rays game (David Price pitching). Hopefully they can get some runs.
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 See, another example of how everything's going wrong.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Corey Kluber 5 IP, 2 ER, walk, 9 K's, HR
Chappy Community Moderator Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 I understand the split %cts - but you really think he'd do worse than Lawrie (in the 4/5th spot) His career stats say yes.
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Something about fundamentals that I shouldn't have spoken to earlier...
TheHurl Site Manager Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 you can hear the air coming out of the fans tires...
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 And that's what f***ing happens. Great effort on that ball Reyes WTF
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 This team. So disappointing how they've come out.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Reyes didn't even make an effort to go for it.
Candy Maldonado Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 lol Reyes didn't even attempt
Chappy Community Moderator Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Reyes didn't even make an effort to go for it. He had no chance.
S33n Verified Member Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 It's time for Reyes to be moved to 2nd base, he's not a shortstop anymore.
