Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 Roster that doesn't involve Rogers, Pillar etc Alex and Beeston ploblem; Gibbons is innocent here!
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 Casey needs to pitch better than he has so far if he's going to get the save here. No base runners would be nice.
Anemic0ffense Verified Member Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 I can't blame Gibbons for bringing Rogers into this game. He's on the team so he's gotta pitch. They need another RH, late-inning reliever. It should be Santos, but we know you can't count on him. Obviously, Wagner has been up and down, but the guy I want to see is Stilson. Santos' xFIP tells me that he would have escaped the inning unscathed....... If he gave up 3 HR's or something, would have been a complete luck job.
AngryBird Verified Member Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 Why are there so many empty seats in Fenway? They started leaving when it was a 5 run lead, that and it's almost 10:30 and they want sleep I guess.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 Both teams have been on the ump tonight, he must've been either terrible or pretty good. His strike zone has been all over the map, bad and inconsistently bad.
AngryBird Verified Member Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 I love how we've pitched Ortiz so far this series. He's been utterly useless.
Bunchedundies Verified Member Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 Cannot blow this, come on Casey.
closetjaysfan Verified Member Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 It's only brutal in hindsight.... You have to give guys days off. You hope to god Rogers can give you two innings.... He didn't. I would only play him in a blowout. Definitely not against a divisional opponent on the road.
S33n Verified Member Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 Atta boy Casey pound that lower half of the zone
AngryBird Verified Member Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 His strike zone has been all over the map, bad and inconsistently bad. That's what absolutely pisses me off more than anything, inconsistency in umps. This guy doesn't even remember what he called strikes and balls an inning ago, let along in the second or third.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 Because of Rogers, Jansen won't be available tomorrow.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 Atta boy Casey pound that lower half of the zone Well, BlueJaysGirl DID say she wanted every thread to end up being about anal...

Bunchedundies Verified Member Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 What the heck is Gomes griping about? Those were clearly strikes.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 Yes Gomes, whine like a little bitch because that obvious strike was called a strike... That's how the BoSox roll!
Candy Maldonado Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 Gomes thinks everything is a ball
theblujay Verified Member Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 Well, BlueJaysGirl DID say she wanted every thread to end up being about anal... Lol
