The_DH Verified Member Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 I started watching with my dad the year they won the WS in 1992, about the same time I started playing softball. Pretty sure he was near the end of his career. I need to Google that. Anyway, I don't think he ever threw that fast, even young. He must have converted from a more traditional pitcher style, like Loup has. No one could possibly start like that. When Eichhorn first came up he was a starter that threw traditionally. Back then there was Quisenberry and Tekulvewith funky deliveries and he learned that frisbee slider. He was so awesome.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 Be real with me here. Are you really a girl? You should come to he next board meetup. We're all normal. Oh no you didn't. Be prepared..
BlueJaysGirl Verified Member Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 I wonder what kind of offers they could get for Rasmus? Thinking that same thing? But man, when Colby is hot, watch out. What if we're still in this thing in September. Which is looking like a very realistic scenario, and then he goes supernova for a month. With the other guys in the lineup OMG.
Bunchedundies Verified Member Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 Still not pitching to bautista.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 Man if Bautista is gonna keep on walking, I want E5 behind him.

kgm1 Verified Member Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 Gose is great in the OF and i like what I've seen of him this time up but his K% at AAA is still over 30 %. he still has a hell of a lot to learn.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 If I were Lind I'd be bummed at being replaced with a 33 year old backup catcher

Either a 2b or a young starter.

I would add Eckersley to that list, though not a true sidearm, his delivery was so wonky that it looked like sidearm (even though it was more like a slingshot). I still remember the first time I saw Eichhorn pitch for the Jays, my little 11 year old brain thought it was Eck because of the delivery and the fact that his name started with "E".
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 Is that a real question Deadpool does not function well alcohol without.

Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 ps who thinks Brandothetool or whatever his name was is posting under another name out of sheer embarrassment? Umm... Hi? I've not hidden the fact that I'm BTT... I didn't change the name out of embarrassment, just that the name no longer applies.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 Are we gonna have another jennybeanz/ bradotool thing happening here? I'm not hitting on the poor girl! I'm like 6 years younger, it wouldn't work.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 From the name "runs created" one result actually created more runs than the other that's why I was wondering Dinger = 2-runs dinger = 3-runs dinger = Grand salami but that will change thanks to JFaS

We better stop this line, east coast is trying too hard.

Not that I'm advocating anything, but I had a pretty solid 3 year relationship with a girl 5 years older than me about a half a millennium ago, it's not impossible.
