Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 B @Rotoinfo_MLB #Blue Jays: Rob Rasmussen-P: Blue Jays have called up Rob Rasmussen from Triple-A Buffalo
NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 Well, we don't need Hendriks until Saturday. So I assume this guy will just mop up a couple games until being sent down for Hendriks.
Frenchsoup Verified Member Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 b @rotoinfo_mlb #blue jays: Rob rasmussen-p: Blue jays have called up rob rasmussen from triple-a buffalo lmao.......
Frenchsoup Verified Member Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 He actually has been really good this year, but your still handcuffing your bench....
Convo Verified Member Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 Well, he sucks. So there's that. He has sucked... looking rather good so far this year, probably SSS
Convo Verified Member Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 10 walks in 17 innings. Meh. Yea... But 0 HR and 19 SO
BabbaGanoush Verified Member Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 He has a 38% GB rate. He's been lucky not to give up dingers. Guy who walks too many and doesn't keep the ball on the ground isn't going to have a whole lot of success in the majors. Unless of course he strikes out 15 per 9 inn.
TDotttt2005 Verified Member Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 LOL, I don't know either at this point. Isn't Gose up? Gose, is the assumed CF starter. He's still here. Unless AA has made another move from the time i started writing this post till now.
Convo Verified Member Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 I believe baseball reference has them. Nope
TheHurl Site Manager Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 Read every top 15 prospect list he's been on (Miami, Houston and the Dodgers) and you'll see the same thing. Competitive spirit, great make-up guy...Jays eat that s*** up. Seriously though he's a short lefty who's been had much better K/BB numbers against lefties and is here for probably 1 outing. Not sure what's a bigger pet peeve of mine...keeping non prospect relievers, or this insistence that we have 3 lefties in the pen at all times (and Happ not being one of them)

BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 First MLB batter Papi - nice job kid
shortstop Verified Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 figured Gibbons would do that, just didn't think it would be in that situation with that much on the line...likely heard the I/v he gave after learning he was getting called up & how it'd be a dream to face Big Papi...that's Gibbons for ya, he's old school & likes a good story...

shortstop Verified Member Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 I would imagine the players really respect Gibby for doing that for Rasmussen...
