Only way for this to be acceptable would be Stroman to take McGowan's rotation spot and Hendriks replacing Happ as the 5th starter to see if he's legit. Of course that won't happen and Stroman will stay as a reliever.

Guy actually has some really good minor league numbers. Why not? He's on fire, maybe we catch lightning in a bottle ala Francisco.

Australian Four pitch command pitcher that the Twins gave up on. He's on the 40 man so you can bring him up and hope that people hit it at people as he shouldn't walk too many. He's not old (25) and doesn't have a lot of mileage on the arm (he split his time between Aussie Rules Football and baseball as a teen), I don't mind him but he's got a really short leash considering his career 6.00 ERA over 28 MLB starts

Better option than Wang, Ortiz or Jenkins for sure.

They need to give Hendriks a look at some point this season. Not sure if this is it though.

 

The Twins gave up on him too early, I was confused when they let him go. He can do some stuff.

I'm ok with giving Hendriks a shot. The problem for me is that I also want Stroman in the rotation. Right now though, it does make sense to go with the fully stretched out arm. AA f***ed up by calling up Stroman only to go into the pen. Hendriks is a guy that I have liked for a couple years. He got slaughtered in Minnesota, but I do think he could be a decent option for the rotation.
