kgm1 Verified Member Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 f*** I love Gose in centre field Took the words from my mouth er er fingers. Just glides to those balls just like Devo used to. And that bunt was super, they are playing for a bunt, he lays one down and they still can't get him . If he bunts like that once every series the infield will be in all the time for him and he'll get extra hits.
Anemic0ffense Verified Member Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 Only a 3.69 xFIP on the day. Meh. J/k Hutch was spectacular. Must have had a lucky rabbits foot in his pocket our something... Completely lucky outing.......

I've been critical of gose...mostly because of the bat...but his speed is undeniable in the field and when he gets on base..
Convo Verified Member Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 Between 2008 and 2011 Doc threw complete games in 27% of his starts. That's f***ing crazy in today's game. He was so economical though
kgm1 Verified Member Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 Kratz is huge you probably know by now that I don't like Navarro.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 Gose can't hit for s*** but should clearly be in the big leagues. The speed and defense gives this team a pretty valuable weapon.

Anemic0ffense Verified Member Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 As a viewer, it almost feels like anything hit in center, Gose will get to. I like Rasmus, but Gose is better in the field because of that game changing speed.

He does not need to have a perfect bunt to get to first.

Exactly the same player in AAA 2013-2014 and his offense has been the worst of his career last 2 years. It's really unfortunate for a guy that can do everything else so well. .239 .316 .336 .652 .236 .317 .336 .653 Those are some atrocious and strikingly similar lines.
