ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 Stud! He's outpitching Sanchez at the same level. He's making a case for a June promo.
Doc Verified Member Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 Pitching around to get to Bautista, he's going through one of those slumps but he always comes out of them.
Bunchedundies Verified Member Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 Bautista looks way off against darvish. That was a hittable pitch. Not sure why he took that fastball second last pitch.
NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 Haha wtf was that. Darvish is in Jose's head.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 He's outpitching Sanchez at the same level. He's making a case for a June promo. Don't make this about Sanchez, Norris is his own man
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 Bautista looks like a little kid against Darvish....completely overmatched
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 Don't make this about Sanchez, Norris is his own man You're right, I've been set straight.
Bunchedundies Verified Member Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 Darvish is near 90, hutch only 57 pitches, that bodes well.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 Bautista looks way off against darvish. That was a hittable pitch. Not sure why he took that fastball second last pitch. It's simply the fact that he can't see the ball well off Darvish's hand. He's now 1 for 16 with 7K against Darvish, for whatever this is worth.
JohnnyLonghorn Verified Member Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 Poor Hutch just cant get any run support.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 Speaking of pitch counts. Darvish was pushed back 2 days after throwing 126 (?) in his no-no bid against the Red Sox. I wonder if the Jays should've done the same after Hutchison threw 110 (?) against @ Philly. I guess different teams handle these things differently, but given that Hutchison came back mid last season from TJS, I thought it might deserve some scrutiny. Who knows, maybe not.

Convo Verified Member Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 Pitching around to get to Bautista, he's going through one of those slumps but he always comes out of them. This is the 10th game in a row he hasn't walked. He needs to remember his success comes from being patient and selective.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 Norris tonight: 6.2, 4H, 1ER, 1BB, 6K. Norris vs Glasnow
