Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 That's more than everyone on this board makes in a year. Considering some of the more frequent posters are teenagers, that isn't far off.

o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 $5000 to practice with Dickey for 30 minutes? I can practice with my dickey for free any time I like and no one will have to read about it in a book.

kgm1 Verified Member Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 I'd love to go to Cooperstown. maybe one day, but I seem to like sun, beaches and cheap food better than americans in smallsville. it's 5000km to the closest mlb park. I'll get to a jays game or two in 2016. dont think I'll be back before then. I understand where you are it is tough. Even watching games is hell. Obviously one of the jays most avid fan . I'm north of Edmonton. I try to go on a road trip every year to a ball park plus I try to catch sun and ball early in the spring . I haven't been East so I need to spend a month there as there is so many teams

saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 And our pen is taxed and has been brutal. He's not even switching things up with a power righty. He's bringing in Cecil who is essentially the same type of pitcher as Happ. Waste of an arm. The Indians as a club have terrible splits against lefties....why would bringing in Cecil have been a bad thing.

I get the cup and the signed ball, you can have all the rest.

Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 There is a reason why the junior jay auction isn't doing that well... maybe exchange the meet and greet from ace to at least a friggen player.
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Maybe he's scared of our bullpen, can't say I blame him I'm just saying...when a team hasn't hit your leftie well all night and you have a another quality leftie in your pen, why wouldn't you use him? It makes perfect sense...if they don't demonstrate they can stop it...keep coming with it.

I haven't been East so I need to spend a month there as there is so many teams once you get on the east coast there are lots of parks really close. check Jet blue once you get your start destination. if you book far enough ahead they are really cheap. you can just do a group of one ways and then end up back where you started so that your trip there and back are not too bad. 2 parks in NY, Boston, Baltimore, Cinci, Philly, Pittsburgh... none more than a short flight. besides, you dont want to sit the family in a car every day. lol you get enough of that where you live just getting anywhere. I've been to some parks, but none of the new ones. I'd like to go back to Pittsburgh again. I was at Three Rivers in 89 before that got Demoed. New park looks amazing.

WTF is wrong with letting a pitcher continue past the 100 pitch mark until he puts a guy on base or something? There is no difference between 100 pitches and 110-115 pitches. On a given night a pitcher might not be tired at all at 100 pitches. He lives and dies with this stupid 100 pitch level almost every single game. Could've easily saved an inning on Cecil's arm tonight. Happ was still throwing very hard.
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 man we've stranded a lot of base runners tonight
Convo Verified Member Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Franco has already used 6 pitchers, that's kinda funny
