Caper Verified Member Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 He got alot of weak contact that found holes from what I saw.... he may have got hit hard a couple of times as well, I can't remember.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Stroman will be ok. Calm down everyone!! bwt Sanchez > Stroman
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 It seems painfully obvious at this point that McGowan and Stroman's roles should be reversed. Both are miscast at this point and it's not working for anyone involved not to mention it's a waste of Stroman's service time.
kgm1 Verified Member Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 We need two starters and McGowan in the pen . Gibby has wanted McGowan in the pen all year and he is right . If we are going to lose we might as well be developing the Kids and having a better bull pen. The pen has lost a lot of games that with McGowan there might have been saved.
The_DH Verified Member Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 If he's the manager then put the guy in the pen.
closetjaysfan Verified Member Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Im ok giving him a bit more of a chance to prove himself, but as I said earlier: He is too short to have a dominant career. He may have a good season or two before he blows out his elbow/rotator cuff, but his value will never be higher than atm. I think he should be traded while he is still worth something.
shortstop Verified Member Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 haven't seen much of Stroman but from the little I have seen, that fastball is too straight as a few others have pointed out & he's getting lit up... My sense is part of the problem is predictability/pitch sequence...he has the stuff to mess with the hitters thought process & will figure it out...
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 The ugly combination of a straight fastball and his height (which puts his fastball on a lower plane) won't do him wonders. The only thing he can do now is get some movement on that fastball either as a cutter or sinker. We don't have anyone on the team that has either of a good pitch except Buehrle.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 The cavarly has come to bury him. Moogy wrote the eulogy before he even was drafted
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted July 15, 2018 Posted July 15, 2018 Prima dona This is some primo thread necromancy...
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted July 15, 2018 Posted July 15, 2018 Shouldn't this be in the Marcus Stroman is a terrific DBag thread so his scrotum gobbler fans can dispute it?

King Old-Timey Member Posted July 15, 2018 Posted July 15, 2018 I wonder if Stroman realizes he's part of the reason this team is f***ing terrible
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted July 15, 2018 Posted July 15, 2018 Stroman for Jon Gray, who says no?
baubau Verified Member Posted July 15, 2018 Posted July 15, 2018 I wonder if Stroman realizes he's part of the reason this team is f***ing terrible I mean he said "we".
King Old-Timey Member Posted July 15, 2018 Posted July 15, 2018 Stroman for Jon Gray, who says no? The Rockies
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted July 15, 2018 Posted July 15, 2018 The Rockies Not who should, but who does He WAS demoted to AAA, and they were on the record stating that his next start after being called up wasn't a given.
baubau Verified Member Posted July 15, 2018 Posted July 15, 2018 Not who should, but who does He WAS demoted to AAA, and they were on the record stating that his next start after being called up wasn't a given. Easily the Jays. They know the rockies are dum and will want Arenado included along with Gray for Stroman.
MarcoSanchez Verified Member Posted July 15, 2018 Posted July 15, 2018 People forget Stroman walked on to a team that was contending for a playoff spot in 2014 and a WS in 2015/2016 Losing can't be easy for him
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted July 15, 2018 Posted July 15, 2018 Stroman for Jon Gray, who says no? Stroman says no cause they didn't run it by him first.
Superdood Verified Member Posted July 15, 2018 Posted July 15, 2018 Not that it's an excuse but injuries have destroyed any chance this team ever had this year. Even fully healthy there's no chance we even compete with the Yanks/Sox/Astros/M's/Indians. Hopefully they go full on in embracing the rebuild at the deadline so I can look forward to a contender in 3-5 years down the road.
Slade Old-Timey Member Posted July 15, 2018 Posted July 15, 2018 I need to see the video or hear the audio but the question does seem very irrelevant. But it's not like Stroman has contributed much to being successful.
jaysguy44 Old-Timey Member Posted July 15, 2018 Posted July 15, 2018 I wonder if Stroman realizes he's part of the reason this team is f***ing terrible No doubt
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted July 15, 2018 Posted July 15, 2018 This is this decade's 'the ship is sinking'.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted July 15, 2018 Posted July 15, 2018 I can't wait until this f***ing midget gets traded.

Well, Sanchez and Tulo are always injured, so it's not like anyone should've expected much out of them and Donaldson in the lineup wouldn't have made too drastic of a difference. He'd likely just get pitched around anyways as no one else is really producing much with the bat. Looking at the averages of the offensive starters across the board is super ugly. Only 1 regular with an average over 250 and no one with an average over 260. The Mirage is the leader at 257 LOL Shapiro and Atkins deserve a little bit of the heat.
