This is definitely the way to handle it. Option Thole and bring up Gose and Pillar. There is virtually zero chance the the FO even considers this though.

 

That would leave us one catcher who would look so special with Dickey.

No, Gose just needs more seasoning. He should be ready for the majors after another couple seasons improving in Buffalo.

So Reyes came back, but Lind went down with back pain. Lind came back, but Lawrie missed 5 games with a sore back. Lawrie came back today, but Rasmus goes down with a tight hamstring...lol, the team will never be fully healthy. Oh and Navarro missed time with a sore quad muscle.

Small injuries like this happen to every team. They should be expected over the course of a full season. However, big injuries like Morrow and Josh Johnson are hard to overcome.

I don't even know why I bother at this point, but what the f*** are you talking about? Snider smashed in minor league baseball, and his tool set is completely different from Gose's aside from the fact that they both strike out a lot. Meanwhile Gose is what he is, he's not learning anything new in AAA, and given that we currently we don't even have a starting CF (even though he's likely better suited for a 4th OF) he's an ideal candidate to come up.

Hype wise buddy! Not hit wise! And how is he even remotely ready if he is a finished product hitting less then .240 in triple a! He does not add to roster flexibility when Colby is healthy! I get it he is fast but speed doesn't matter if you can't hit! His base stealing are good but not great he is still running into to many outs! Let him figure it out in the minors he has time and is better severed there! Mastro up just makes more sense at this time for all the reasons Gose doesn't!

If he's raking at 26 in AAA, hopefully he's playing for someone else. He is what he is now.

 

And if Gose is a 3rd tier CF, I'll take that at LG MIN over paying Colby 15m for him to play at a 2nd tier level.
