o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 that's interference. no way the runner was anywhere near the bag. runner went off the baseline to get to the SS. rule of thumb is that the runner should be able to at least reach the bag from where they slide. he was 5ft away, so unless he has orangutan arms it was interference.
guylaroche5 Verified Member Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 f***.. If Lawrie is going to stay at 3B, we need Goins' defense at 2B. That was f***ing horrible.. ?????????????
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Woo Rasmus got it! Wow. Good thing he wasn't playing deep on a guy with such big power or that would have fallen in.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 ????????????? What don't you understand?
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Wow. Good thing he wasn't playing deep on a guy with such big power or that would have fallen in. Don't be a stooge.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 That's interference, he was nowhere near the bag on his slide Diaz did a great job clearing the bag for his throw. if the f***ing ump is going to let guys take out middle infielders 5 feet from the bag it's going to be impossible to turn 2
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Would Pujols have made that play?
Iluvbjs Verified Member Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 I'd love to know if there's even one singler poster here, who wouldn't bet any amount he could afford to lose, that Lind wouldn't get a hit in that bases loaded situation. Better yet, he's an absolute guarantee that with a 3-2 count on him, he swings at any pitch, whether in the dirt or high enough that the catcher needs to stand up to catch it. So I'm left wondering....last year, this useless piece of trash was demoted and even taken OFF the 40 man roster. The organization seemingly had enough of his downs syndrome swing and his lack of use anywhere on the diamond. He's slow, completely useless and just about the worst clutch hitter I've ever seen. I'd rather have that Galvis guy from the Phillies who's hitting .050 at the plate than this garbage man. I fail to see where this organization suddenly saw some sort of light with this idiot. He's proven over 4 seasons that he has absolutely NOTHING to offer. Why he is occupying a spot on our roster is precisely what frustrates me to f*** with this organization. Because with *******s like him in our lineup, we aren't going to field a winner. But hey, he'll do enough over a 20 game stretch at the end of the year when it doesn't matter to apparently warrant him yet another chance next year. Sorry for the rant in the game time thread guys, I just seriously f***ing hate this loser as a ballplayer ands even more as a person that's played and watched the game for a long time. I can see that he is nowhere near good enough to play at this level. Especially since he is useless as a position player...........f***, whatever...
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 We keep getting lucky Gotta score!!
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 I need a MIF bat for my man Norris bro. http://www.funnymeme.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/Funny-memes-a-milf-is-a.jpg
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Now we swing at the first pitch when we should be driving Wilson out of the game this inning.
closetjaysfan Verified Member Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 What don't you understand? Uhh... id say that Tolleson's offence (so far) makes up for one bad play (arguable that it was a bad play since it looked like he was interfered with). Goins and his .150 average can stay in the minors.
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 I need a MIF bat for my man Norris bro. I'll PM you in a bit.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 really tired of Martinez s***ing himself for every pop fly to the warning track.
JohnnyLonghorn Verified Member Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Mark Buehrle and Jose Bautista carrying this team tonight as they have for much of the season. We need someone else to step up.

guylaroche5 Verified Member Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 What don't you understand? that it was borderline interference and more importantly the fact that it was diaz who made the 'mistake' at short (not 2B)
Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Buck....EAR...sorry i mean ERA. Holy f*** Buck what are u drinkin?
NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Mark Buehrle and Jose Bautista carrying this team tonight as they have for much of the season. We need someone else to step up. No, Buehrle's defense is! He has 5 BB, 2 K. It's not him keeping runs off the scoreboard.
Candy Maldonado Old-Timey Member Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 lol @ that fan snapping his fingers, that needs an animated gif
closetjaysfan Verified Member Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 No, Buehrle's defense is! He has 5 BB, 2 K. It's not him keeping runs off the scoreboard. Buehrle induces ground ball outs. He is not a power pitcher (clearly). But I will take him over anyone else on the staff this year and he is making a pretty good case for the allstar game. Edit: also the ump's strikezone isn't helping things
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Big inning here....we need some runs
