Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 I'm afraid of the inside breaking pitch here...could end badly.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 Man, wouldn't it be nice if we had a bench here so we could pinch hit for Tolleson?
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 Did u all really think we were going to score.....
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 I guess what's on everyone's mind is... Can we strike out Mike Trout for a fourth time?
Convo Verified Member Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 I guess what's on everyone's mind is... Can we strike out Mike Trout for a fourth time? Something to cheer for I guess
JohnnyLonghorn Verified Member Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 All the hope and optimism I had for this team after the five game winning streak is all but gone now
Frenchsoup Verified Member Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 So what is going to happen with this team? Walker going to get canned soon?
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 Wow 4 strikeouts in one game for Trout lol.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 Man, how was Francisco closer to that than Cabrera?

Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 Probably too little, too late, but yay EE!
Frenchsoup Verified Member Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 No pitch hit for lind with kratz? Come on gibbs! Or is he proving a point to AA that kratz isn't a viable platoon?
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 Cecil puts the game further out of reach
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 Im the last one standing.....victory shall be mine
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 101 years old mom pitched better than Stroman and Cecil
Convo Verified Member Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 OK can put an end to the Francisco at 3rd, Lawrie at 2nd ******** now? 8 K's in 3 games... is this real life?
JohnnyLonghorn Verified Member Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 Pitch Francisco down and away and he can't put the bat on the ball especially against LHP. Angels haven't even been trying to go anywhere else at all against him and for good reason.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 McGowan, Happ and LAA pitching have set up the Jays to be swept with Weaver and Wilson starting the next 2 games for the Halos. Let's hope the bats come alive today and steal one of the next 2. Looks like my prediction is coming true. The team just looks like crap, with a few exceptions. Bats have looked slow all 3 games and we know their pitching is iffy at best.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 I was actually worried about Hutchison coming into this start because of the 110 or so pitches he threw against Philly last Tuesday. He was actually throwing harder in his final inning than earlier in the game and I thought he was overthrowing. I'm probably wrong, but I think he may have been feeling the effects. Anyway, at least we should be closer to a house-cleaning with a loss tomorrow.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 Well, you partially got your wish. Santos is headed for the DL with a forearm strain. You do realize these Angels pitchers are actually good, right? 4 good starters with WHIPs in the 1.10s with a decent offense. It's the blasted bullpen that's held them back. If they could straighten it out, these Angels could easily be well into 1st in the AL West. It's not surprising the Jays are having trouble with the Angels. Just be glad we get Cleveland and Texas next, both having issues with their pitching staff(excluding Yu Darvish). Those series are a good chance for the Jays to bounce back.
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 Bottom line is Stroman is young, he's going to make more mistakes.... even if his peripheral stats are great. He chews gum like he owns the place. This will be a reality check for him. Down his high horse he goes.... LOL
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
