I really dont understand how Lawrie sees 2nd as a kick in the face. Lawrie talks like Gibbons has asked him to serve beer in the stands wearing a dress. Second is still a quality position and he'd solve a lot of the teams problems.

I just think he's pissed because he's put so much work into 3rd base, and he really is one of the premier defenders at his position.

I guess the emphasis on defense has gone away, lol. JuanFran is already coming back down to earth at the plate, just wait for a couple of costly errors and this experiment will end.

with a little work he could probably be a premiere player at just about any position. It really has to be where the team has the most need. Our problem is that they are sending Lawrie to stick his finger in the dyke to save the team, but the dyke was washed away in the off season and you can stick what you want in it now, nothing is going to stop the flood of mediocrity flows through this team.
